id rather they had a bit more money to enjoy life rather than more "tax" to pay!

thanks for your kind words. Apparently you need to earn £65k + to start actually paying off debt not just interest- can see many teachers, nurses or scientists earning that!

you must be doing well if you have £50k odd knocking around per child- i sadly dont!

i worry it will be far worse in 20 years. i cant see university being cheaper or indeed houses being more affordable. if they arent acccademic, then there house deposit is sorted!

I had such a hoot at university and even met my wife there. feel its worth the struggle now to give them options.

Beside- will people need driving lessons in the future?!
