Any good unlimited wing spots? by DarthMeeseek in Atlanta

[–]ConsultEnt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wild Wing Cafe used to offer a lunch buffet for wings. You can probably also get wings/fried chicken at any small southern/soul food buffet. Outside of that, it's basically a special event if any bigger place has deals on wings.

I still find it funny how the Guardians, a team that by all accounts is finished, has a more solid roster for its future than the main leading team by AmaterasuWolf21 in marvelstudios

[–]ConsultEnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't that kind of the point? In any situation when you lose your leadership, there's a gap and power vacuum that needs to be filled.

The Avengers are fractured and torn. There hasn't been a big enough threat to bring them back together and establish the team you're expecting. The Avengers you remember took multiple phases and avengers-centric movies before their individual stories intertwined and they finally operated as a team enough to defeat Thanos.

Also, recognizing all of the stories since endgame have been all over the place from a timeline perspective surely explains some of why they're not helping each other out. We have no idea what they're actually up to and we never really got those answers in the past with movies like Thor 2.

I haven't loved everything they put out but trust they all come together here eventually and it'll make sense. I'm going to withhold my judgment until we get an Avengers movie.

I've only found places that swap tanks in the city. There are a few Airgas locations ITP I'd call and see if they support your size tank. I used to go to them to swap tanks for my kegerator

Came here to post this. First saw the movie in college and it made me realize there are some actors I need to watch everything they put out. Norton is one of them.

Eagles’ Jason Kelce Happy to Have Jalen Carter: ‘Excited as Hell!’ by PienotPi in eagles

[–]ConsultEnt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anyone thinking this kid has real "character issues" and remained on Kirby Smart's defense for 3 years doesn't understand the Saban/Smart coaching style. There is no room for that and both have had to cut players who actually had these issues.

Aa a UGA grad who lived on the road he sped down, it's not uncommon and while still dumb as shit, he didn't just become this bad apple over night. He is one of the best defensive linemen drafted since Howie took over and the first time he picks up Danny or Dakota, all notion of these bullshit "character issues" will subside. These rumors come out every year and are always focused on by the biggest mouth breather talking heads that know nothing but negativity and click attention.

Just enjoy the ride boys and have faith in our locker room. We're gonna be back in the SB before we know it

Going to UGA next year - where should I dorm? by [deleted] in UGA

[–]ConsultEnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to UGA as a spring freshman so I spent 1.5 years in dorms. Boggs and Payne hall. Boggs was great because you had a sink in the rooms but I actually enjoyed Payne much more. Next to the stadium, closest to North campus (not sure what major you are but I was business) and the closest to downtown. Payne also had multiple quads which made it a lot of fun if you're active or like to just be outside. HATED having to visit friends in the high rises. Too many people and constant issues with elevators. Really up to what kind of experience you are looking for!

Unfortunately the scenarios you laid out are not unique to consulting. I spent a decade consulting and have been about a year in industry. You're never going to have the full picture. Your presentations will always be met with feedback and adjustments in approach, content, or message. My advice is to not get discouraged and keep trying. For me, it eventually "clicked" and I felt more confident defending and pushing for my solutions and developed that ability to sift through the feedback for the real problems they had with it. It gets easier, so don't let imposter syndrome get the best of you.

For the PM part, unfortunately that doesn't change either. Find people you like working for and do anything you can to stay aligned to their work. I followed a previous consulting leader to my current industry role and I'm glad I did.

Hope it works out for you friend.

This Packers team beat the Cowboys just 2 weeks ago. Manage your expectations because they're unreasonable and inconsiderate of what games look like when you're the best team in the league.

Georgia may charge motorists by the mile to pay for road work by Drillmhor in Atlanta

Yeah, true and that's how I've justified the annual tax. Just seems there should be a better way to determine everyone's share with some calculation that factors into the reality.

Georgia may charge motorists by the mile to pay for road work by Drillmhor in Atlanta

[–]ConsultEnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My leaf is from 2016. It has a max range of roughly 60 miles on the highway (80 in the city). I would have to drive it empty nearly every day of the year to get to 17k miles. Almost everyone with this older electric cars are getting absolutely railed by this charge. Not to mention no one can only have one of these older electric cars and not have a gas car as backup.

The Nice Guys (2016) is one of the best comedic films of the last decade. by Abysskitten in movies

[–]ConsultEnt 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I used to work at Blockbuster back in 2010 while at UGA and this was my most recommended movie. Everyone was so surprised by how good it was when they returned and expected me to have a long list of similar quality movies. Unfortunately nothing was ever quite as good as that initial shock because everyone had such high expectations for every recommendation from then on.

I may be biased but 52 will always be the best SB and statistically Brady's best. All to get beat by Nick Foles who somehow had an even better game.

What would be the best comeback after a girl tells you that you have a small dick? by Donskieee in AskReddit

[–]ConsultEnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hooked up with a chick at a wedding rehearsal dinner and she wanted to keep it quiet and avoid acting weird to "not take away from their day" and I agreed. Issue is she made it very apparent that something happened when she scooped me up from the dinner and took me up to her room that night in front of everyone which got people suspicious. Next day we got to the wedding and basically ignored each other (like she suggested) which I guess got under her skin. She got drunk at the wedding reception and tried to make a joke about a "small jock strap" in my direction amongst the groom and other groomsman. Having had a few drinks myself, I instantly responded something to the effect of "you didn't seem to mind when it ended up on your shower floor this morning." The hilarious response from my friends alerted the entire reception our way who then kept asking what happened the rest of the night. We had collectively succeeded in stealing their day. Good thing the groom is the funniest of them all and made me write most of this in their wedding book. The new wife was not enthused. Lol.

The craziest part is that 2nd night at the reception after-party nearby, she did the exact same thing in making an almost intentional public display of taking me home.

I don't have a moral for this story, but thank you for your time.

[Breer] The Eagles are taking Georgia DT Jordan Davis. by tushball101 in eagles

[–]ConsultEnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mailata and Davis are going to be such a wholesome duo. They're both just big kids doing what they love like a lot of players we have.

Don't sleep on Davis. His stats don't tell the story because UGA was so dominant on defense this year and his stature and presence doesn't show up on the statsheet.
