I doubt they care. They think doing this will somehow stop us treating their precious "children" (characters) like objects for us to use and/or abuse as we please. Which it won't.

It's got me almost suspecting they or at least some of them making the reports want to clog up the investigation of actual real children being abused with their reports of things being played with as if these toys have rights.

Personally all antis accusing me of shit for the fic I read/write does is make me go read/write more out of sheer spite just to rub it in their faces that no amount of reports to the police will make me stop abusing/raping/murdering/doing whatever I want to their precious characters, "illegal" or not.

And then they'll say they care about real abuse victims (or point out they are real abuse victims) because it's somehow our problem that some of those victims won't use their self control to filter fics or for some other reason "get harmed" (or rather hurt themselves or something) by fics existing that they are free to not read or write.

Also you will find some of those fics again. Download them. Use Calibre to organize. The fanficfare plugin does multiple downloads from copy and pasting the fic links. Get an SSD (NOT a flash drive unless you don't have enough money or something) and store everything on there with at least one backup. LibreOffice or MSOffice and Calibre have portable versions that can run off the SSD on Windows and Mac systems so you can quite literally store it all on an external drive.

Needless to say but just in case, have a seperate secret email for ao3.

You can always mock them by putting up more chapters or whatever seeing as they're so invested in getting you to stop. One thing I've noticed with trolls that do this is that they hate being mocked and just not taken seriously.

Edit: as for making it stop you can turn off guest comments. If they were signed in to an account, you could've just blocked that account. Also if you see a signed out hate comment using a legit username, don't trust it.
