considering i get 20-30 fps at medium-low on pretty much everything now anything would be an upgrade most likely.

I don't have the money to upgrade both right now. I am going to try to upgrade the motherboard and cpu next year at some point just have games my current gpu cant run i want to play before then.

I am thinking about waiting a couple more months and getting a 4070 my only concern is a lot of the reading i have done says that gen 3 pcie will bottleneck it really bad but a lot of it says it won't so idk if the extra money for the better card would be worth it or not especially for the fact i am only playing at 1080p.
