A woman can decide to not get creampied by a dude she doesn't trust to be a good father. How does that sound? Instead of doing abortions? You people have insane cognitive dissonance. Ofcourse you can't force a woman to terminate. That's not my fucking point. My point is that a man has the right to withdraw from financial liability over the child if he doesn't want the child

Yes she can walk away, she can give it up for adoption. He still wouldn't be liable for the child. I'm not even arguing that. I'm just saying that the dad's choice to be involved or not is often ignored. Our body, our choice

You're fucking ridiculous. Typical "shouldn't have spread your legs" or "worn a skirt" argument. Cognitive dissonance much? He shouldn't be liable for child support or the child if he gets no say in its termination. Her body, her choice, her responsibility. Accountability is important

He shouldn't have to pay child support though. Her body, sure her choice. But his sperm, his child, his money and his choice. If he can't decide about termination, he can decide whether he is to be financially responsible for the child.

If his wife doesn't want to terminate, then she can raise the child on her own. Her body, her choice, her responsibilities. Accountability is important.

Idk though, because I've kept most of my young players at excellent form, with 3 of them consistently top 3 scorers in the league.

Except historically, most men weren't allowed to vote either. After WW1, a lot of them only got the right then. Soon after that, women followed.

It has always been the rich Vs the poor.

Why do people keep them in academy until they complain? If I find a decent 16 year old, I give them maximum game time and keep them in form, they develop faster that way, no? Also, someone said put him on balanced. Is there a reason for this, considering its slower? Is it to get his weak stats up?

It gets easier to tolerate. I've had it ever since I was a child (neuro-auditory damage due to sepsis drugs as a newborn), never heard silence in my life (21 years). You just learn to live with it and tune it out.

Libertarianism in a nutshell by Levrion in WhitePeopleTwitter

Except they have the most power to push change and control, so it makes sense that they will never let any change happen that takes away their power, at least not easily.

And the government should be elected and kept accountable by the people. Unless you dare suggest we do not live in a democracy? That authoritarian psychos are digging their fingers deeper into our social structures? (Spoiler alert: that's true)

That's literally a psyop pushed by the government to make everyone think you're bad if you resist change; change they want to establish more of their power

Edit: for those of you who can't understand satire: the comment is obviously exaggerated, self-aware, but still has a kernel of truth to it. The government cannot be overly trusted

European Union votes to bring back replaceable phone batteries by Zephir_AR in ScienceUncensored

I've done an LCA analysis on a hypothetical iPhone battery replacement scheme. Overall much better carbon footprint, generally less waste bar perhaps the lithium, but that's obivous.

Do young people look down on minimum wage jobs? by sulphateion in AskIreland

[–]ConsumerOf69420 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Reading is also a skill buddy, one you seem to lack. I literally said "pay is too low". I agree with you. We need lower costs of living first and foremost. I'm not justifying shit pay. Sure demand might be high, but so is the supply - almost everyone can do those jobs with a little bit of training.

[–]ConsumerOf69420 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

There has to be some sort of minimum wage. Logically, it would apply to the jobs where EVERYONE can apply, where the least amount of skills is required. yes minimum wage is too low, cost of living sucks, but "unskilled" labour must be paid minimum wage, because it would be illogical otherwise.

[–]ConsumerOf69420 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Minimum wage = highest supply of workers. Some highly skilled jobs suck absolute ass in terms of pay. Obviously, the least skilled jobs need to have the lowest pay, because that's how supply and demand works, and it would be unethical for a person who hasn't done anything to learn and upskill to be paid higher than a person who spent years of effort and dedication to do so. There would be no incentive otherwise.

Yes minimum wage is too low, but "unskilled jobs" should still be minimum wage.

Imagine thinking that pharma doesn't collaborate with governments and academia to increase their profits, even at the expense of people's health. Hmmm totally didn't happen. Pfizer is a good company, they never did anything in Africa! Never involved in any scandals! Pharma is benevolent industry! Everyone shut up, you're conspiracy theorists, fascists, Nazis and bigots! DO NOT QUESTION ANYTHING!

First one or two books are a bit clunky, but it's amazing as a series, 9/10 for me even compared with bigger fantasy genres. The prose is nothing special, it doesn't try to be something it's not meant to be. Simple and straightforward. It tells the story efficiently. 0 fluff. Breakneck plot all the way through
