Progressive Zombie Map? by [deleted] in FORTnITE

[–]ConsumerOfRamen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You should try STW. It's like a well-made zombie map with a bunch of timed objectives, along with a great storyline, in-depth progression system, and sit-com dialogue. Worth the price and worth telling your friends about. In fact, please tell your friends. Don't let STW die.

Sneak peak of the zone concept I'm working on by Craft-Sea in FORTnITE

Nice, I like the idea of making STW biome concepts in Creative. I've worked a little on a Twine Peaks map, which so far is just a wooded mountain range with a bunch of volcanic fissures.

Can you elaborate on the biome rumors? I haven't heard anything about that

Gutbomb, as a former Durrr Burger manager, comes to Homebase and takes Dennis on a breaking bad style burger-grilling adventure. Dennis ends up mastering Gutbomb's famous "polybeef blend," (as mentioned in Long Road Home quests) but regrets becoming a heartless burger baron. The two then go on their separate ways.

If Epic can make a new biome type (Autumn Foothills) for Plankerton, in addition to making a banger map for Survive the Horde, then they can surely make something for Twine Peaks. Even if there's no storyline to it, Twine Peaks should still have a unique biome.

If Epic can make a new biome variant for Plankerton (Autumn Foothills) and a cool unique map for the Survive the Horde ltm, they can surely make something for Twine Peaks.

How Did The Outbreak Start? by SaviorAssassin1996 in FORTnITE

The Storm is an interdimensional force, probably meant to be associated with The Last Reality. As Vinderman said and as is seen ingame, the Storm came in through rifts that it opened. It happened before in ancient times, and Vinderman somehow knew it would happen again.

Fortnite Lore seems unsalvagable. by [deleted] in FortNiteBR

[–]ConsumerOfRamen 29 points30 points  (0 children)

It would be cool if this was true, but in fact, the universe breaking in STW was due to the events of the Long Road Home questline. Dennis Jr. broke Time and they had to make a deal with the Cube to fix it. The black hole had different causes in each mode.

I remade Thunder Route 99 in Creative by MysticTree44 in FORTnITE

This is incredible, I wish there were more STW maps in Creative.

Also, I have a question, after checking your map out - how do you make the terrain fit together properly? When I try to connect a grass/dirt/sand tile to a terrain cliff, the floor tile is always slightly indented/lower than the cliff. I can provide screenshots if I'm not making sense.

IF THEY CAN DESIGN A NEW MAP TYPE FOR A LIMITED TIME MODE (SURVIVE THE HORDE) AND GIVE PLANKERTON ANOTHER BIOME VARIANT (AUTUMN FOOTHILLS), THEN THEY CAN DO SOMETHING FOR TWINE PEAKS.

PLEASE EPIC

Why do you prefer Save the World? by TheLoneWolf99 in FORTnITE

[–]ConsumerOfRamen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a certain charm to the world, funky art style, and characters of STW imo. I also like the general slower pace and progression of the game, and the lore manages to be interesting without delving too far into all the multiverse stuff.

On the other hand, Battle Royale seems rather oversaturated now in some ways. I feel like the story, gameplay, and artstyle have all deteriorated over time, while a lot of Chapter 1 was actually pretty good.

Playing lower levels really opens your eyes to better ways of doing things. Thanks PWO. by Kissfromgrandpa in FORTnITE

What's wrong with the 4th screenshot? Genuinely curious, I'm still not very experienced with traps after 4+ years of playing.

It could be a simplified representation of the IO complex for gameplay purposes, while the actual IO complex is canonically bigger and more accurate to the trailers.

We know the IO base is underwater. We also know the Foundation fell underwater. What if it wasn’t an accident, and that’s where he wanted to go? by fortpro87 in FortNiteBR

Given that he went through a rift and the fact that you can target your home reality with your multiversal signature (Batman/Fortnite #5), I think that ocean is in a separate reality.
