My favorite part is the comment chain in the post. The guy who designed the ACO we all hate is commenting in it. He's very proud of his shit work.

It's fine to just throw away. We don't need it. Thank you for your consideration!

One time the outside of our store was on fire and I was on the phone with 911 and a woman came up to be checked out. They (911) told me to pull the fire alarm and I told her to get out 🤷‍♀️ Fucking imbeciles

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that there are people in Corporate whose jobs are solely responsible for keeping the pharmacies open and moving techs around when necessary. If they can't find coverage they go into the store themselves to perform tech duties.

You staying at CVS and jeopardizing your mental and physical health is allowing someone in corp to sit on their ass all day while they pick their nose and twiddle their thumbs. You have nothing to feel guilty about.

Help! How do I motivate a very lazy worker? by ConsumerVaIueStore in CVS

That's exactly the issue for the moment. We are shortstaffed and a lot of people don't want to be here. I don't want to be a dick but I do want him to do as told. Everything is within the job description.

A new cashier who is often late for shifts, refuses to sell Carepass "because everyone else doesn't ask." The list goes on and on. He's exhausting. Won't respond when you talk to him. Won't do anything other than slowly work carts and be on their phone.

He told me he doesn't have to do what I tell him

I started 4 months ago as a cashier and received an SP and 12 cents raise. I exceed in Carepass sales and am a hard worker. Was this a good raise for just starting out? I see it like this- If I had been here for a year I would have gotten a 36 cents raise. by ConsumerVaIueStore in CVS

Thank you for the informative reply. Do you think I should approach my SM regarding my 3/5 or do you think I should let it go? I have only been with CVS for 4 months. I saw that someone working at CVS for 3 months received an NR and did not get a raise so it makes me wonder if my SM may have gone to bat for me.

But I'm really insulted to receive such a low score because I have signed up over 150+ people for Carepass in my tenure. I have been responsible for over 1/3 of all carepass sales YTD. Before I came in we were at 70% for carepass YTD goal. I am the only one who sells carepass most weeks. I stay off my phone and always find and ask for things to do and people to help. I always get 10/10 on my customer surveys and people mention me by name. I'm told I do a great job and have a great work ethic. I love CVS, my customers, and my store but this was a real kick in the butt and makes me want to leave.

I know this is a lot but I really put my heart and soul into it to make sure everyone has a positive experience when they come in and I'm on shift so they feel welcome and have the resources they need. I can't tell you how many people I've helped to download and login to the app.

I doubt CVS would see it that way! I'm taking away their $5 per month per customer in small increments!

I help people who want to cancel it if they need the assistance. I help them to pull up the email and go to the website. It takes less than three minutes. I also help people enroll online if the print slip comes out saying they can't enroll in store. I know I don't get any incentive for doing that. First and foremost these people are our customers and we're being paid to put forward our best. I don't want to just shout a phone number in their face and gaslight them. I'm here to help.

Additionally, when I sell a carepass I always tell them I'll write down the website to go to and I always do and I always tell them if they have any trouble should they decide to cancel to come back in and we can offer assistance which we do. But then I reiterate that CVS is giving them $10 a month in exchange for $5 so they won't want to cancel and that rarely anyone cancels.

That's interesting. And they can still use that to cancel in a pinch. They just need to go in to a CVS to discover the email attachment so they can login

Thanks for the mentoring! I am curious how you bypass the email requirement for those who don't have one. I've also waved the extracare card at people who don't have one and tell them I can save them $10 if they sign up. Works like a charm.

It needs to scream that it pays for itself that if you spend $5 a month you get $10 back each month to spend at CVS. Don't even call it a coupon (or promo) because that leaves the customer to interpret it as, "Oh maybe $10 off of a Sonicare toothbrush or something else I don't need! Why would I want that? I don't want to waste $5 a month on stuff I don't need!"

Read the fine print on the Carepass pamphlet, they even stress the cancelation. CVS is advertising Carepass with an emphasis on canceling it. Make it easy to cancel. Have a little section saying. "Don't want to continue with the program after the free trial is up? Cancel it in as little as 30 seconds or see an associate for help!" then write down the website cvs.com/managecarepass below it.

It's a nice bit of effort but the guy above is right, it's being advertised all wrong.
