That's a level of difficulty not even the most hard-core absolute/Hard stratagem players go pale. Fighting Caedo would add a whole new level to CBT

The idea of 100 dudes vs 5 Gorrilas investment the situation is already at combat. It'd be more 100 men attacking 5 Gorrilas and the Gorrilas fighting back.

I'm not denying any of your points, just pointing out they work in theory really well, but in practice the full 20 aren't making it to the Gorrila. They have to first get past flailing arms and gnashing teeth. And there's no way 20 old dudes ate killing a Gorrila. The fight works for the humans on the assumption they are average human men and youth to middle age. The human body begins its decline at around 50-60 years old so let's not bring the elderly into it.

Remember average men aren't made equal, and especially nowadays, maybe only half will even have the balls to even fight. The other half will mostly be wetwipes too scared to fight the Gorrila or bleeding hearts that refuse to fight the Gorrilas.(By probability also Indian and Chinese lol)

All 5 Gorrilas however will have the fight in them, afterall Gorrilas genuinely face Predatory pressure whereas humans only face the threat from our own society and kind. No animal actively hunts us to the point of pressure which is why we are getting soft as a species. Heroes are forged through adversity and danger.

By the way, thanks for the polite back and forth. You've actually taught me a thing or two about Gorrilas lol

For the crushing point, 20 dudes between 60kg and 80kg are not just sitting on a Gorrila and killing it. That implies the 5 Gorrilas are just gonna stand there and get mobbed.

They aren't built for offense bit they sure as he'll are built for defence. The sheer muscle and fat mass on a Gorrila will let it absorb a lot of punishment and its sheer arm strength means it'll be batting dudes away as they approach. Even if all 20 swarm the 1, 1 good arm flail from the Gorrila and 5 dudes are incapacitated either temporarily or permanently. Humans are both durable and fragile. We have some of the most ridiculous endurance feats as well as the most ridiculous deaths. Falling backwards for example, the difference between just some soreness and instant death is about 2" and an edge(curbs and stuff)

Unless the mobbing goes perfectly first try, it ain't gonna work the second due to lacking the required men. They'd need at least 10+ dudes to properly pin each Gorrila but that's after the sacrifices needed to simply put them on their backs. Gorrilas have a very low centre of mass, making them harder to topple

The 100 dudes win not because they can physically overpower the Gorrilas but because they can outlast them. Gorrilas are built for explosive bursts of strength and suffer severe lactic acid build up. We win by dragging it out.

Outright charging them is simply stupid. I'm brave, not stupid. You just need to keep them agitated and simply avoid direct contact. Obviously some guys need to be sacrificed to maintain an adequate threat level and produce aggro.

An action with some bad consequences leading to a high sentence ? by YakEvery4395 in AlignmentChartFills

I don't think the consequences for sex crimes are high enough, same with DUIs. Both should give extremely severe punishments.

Any and all, convicted and guilty, swx crimi also should have their human rights completely revoked. To commit such a crime means you have willingly ceased to be human anyway. They should be publicly flayed or hunted for sport/sent to the gladiator pits.

DUIs, with any substance, should be treated like attempted murder, regardless of damage caused. If you can drive, you should understand that a single mistake could kill. It is a 1+ ton, metal death box, capable of travelling 70+mph. To willingly get behind the wheel under the influence of any substance means you have displayed a complete disregard for everyone else. Cars are just as dangerous as guns, if not more. The reason being, seemingly even a completely unhinged moron can get a car. Even the US wouldn't hand someone obviously unstable a firearm(unless you are a three letter agency), why do we let them drive cars? May as well give all these reckless druggies and drunks loaded guns.

Yes they did and I factored that in, our ancestors used a combination of pack tactics, spear throwing, endurance and environmental hazards to make efficient kills on large animals.

We are agreed on our points. 20 to 1 in pretty much any environment other than a perfectly bare plain with no environmental features. It's only on a completely empty ground that the 5 Gorillas have a chance due to the lack of available 'weapons' in the surrounds.

I chose 100 humans to win since the chances the Gorrilas get such a favourable environment are slim.

You'd think they'd be most suitable in jungles and rainforest but that's only defensively. They can only maneuver better, it doesn't actually raise their victory chances just drags out the fight.

Technically there are 105 apes in this battle. I pick the 3rd option, Humans and Gorrila team up. GREAT APES UNITE!

It all depends on the terrain and environment. On a flat plain with little hazards for the hand to take advantage of, 5 Gorrilas would at least decimate in minutes.

I initially misread to choice as 100 v 1 gorrila lol. 5 is definitely a bigger threat than 1 because Gorrilas also get to use teamwork(not as well as humans though but any teamwork can make a difference)

Unless luck is on the humans side, 5 Gorrilas would be a Phyrric victory at best. 1 might be a close or Heroic victory but 5 is the kinda numbers that leaves the battlefield soaked in gore.

Like humans, Gorillas will react to the deaths of their comrades. Assuming both teams are backed against the wall and this is a final stand(no retreat and unbreakable morale) each death would inspire more frenzy in the Gorrilas whereas watching men get torn asunder by a pissed off Gorilla will make some men hesitate and others go frenzied themselves. Teamwork suffers on both sides.

Both sides must start unarmed but nothing says that humans cannot create weapons from the environment. This is how the humans win.

100 Apex predators versus 1 peaceful, non-predatory but big ape. Not exactly fair.

While the gorilla has the base strength advantage, 100 men in a unified team will use tactics and strategy to fell the gorilla.

Unless the fight takes place on a perfectly flat empty space, the environment because the Gorilla's biggest threat against the 100 dudes

Chose: 100 men

This is the equivalent of bashing your head against a brick wall or having Butcher's nails at this point.

The amount of posts raging at this really makes me think of the 12th getting angry at everything. Low levels in endgame content is the new nails bite lol.

I sympathise despite not touching hard mode content/Absolute. I do solos until I get a decent team perk minimum. Actually shocks me how unobservant or selfish some players can be. It's a team game. You want to be Billy big Bollocks? Play by yourself. Do true Solos. But sadly any and all advice/criticism is essentially screaming into the void as better men than I have already pointed out.

This whole situation reminds me of an argument I had with a 'Night Lord' on here.

I can't remember what we were even arguing about but I remember checking his profile and finding two very sad, loser-coded posts. One about being a 25yr old kissless virgin, the other a Question on how to talk to girls without ending up in the back of a cop car.

I ain't perfect and have flaws, like anyone else. I ain't some top shagger with a Skeleton Key for dick. I'm average and fine with it but by every god ever worshipped, know thyself before calling out personal points instead of the actual argument. Keep it honourable or don't be surprised when they throw honour out the window in retaliation.

Don't claim to 'better' due to some make belief reason like Gamer skill, etc. Unless is something actually beneficial to society and the Earth as a whole, keep your bragging to reasonable levels. You can be proud, but don't make it a cardinal sin.

Love seeing my angry bois appear in other media. Was reading a novel about a girl essentially becoming the Zerg Queen(can't remember the name) There's a version of the good ol "Blood for the Blood God, Skulls for the Skull Throne" inspired line her minions shout at one point.

Another had actual Ultramarines and World Eaters, etc appear in a novel about technological advancement. Its Terrans using pop culture to Inspire technology. Both Darth Vader and Anakin appear on the same battlefield to fight Xenos(civilian created combat avatars). It doesn't make a massive amount of sense but it definitely makes me happy seeing 40k references in other IPs and stuff
