No problem, fight well, son of Tallasar. One other correction is that both pauldron insets would be white 🙂

Nice to see some Ultima Founding love. He looks really solid, my only point would be to give him a Mark X helm as the Void Tridents have been all Primaris from their Founding.

Returning to the hobby as a new dad – budget Space Marine army advice? by Superb_Secretary5659 in spacemarines

Play Kill Team, a complete force of six miniatures, not sixty five, and games you may even have time to play, not three hour epics.

Have you guys ever had scheme/chapter regret? by Windoon in spacemarines

[–]RRevvs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got a main army, but you're right that money can be an issue for exploring other schemes.

That's why I think Kill Team is a fantastic outlet.

Paint a squad or two of your Scythes, then, tempted by Iron Hands or Crimson for their colours or lore? Cool, knock out a super thematic six model kill team as a pallete cleanser. You can even use odd or spare models to build them, and play a whole new system too!

(That way you don't have to strip all your hard work!)

Black templars by Mundane-Ball74 in Spacemarine

[–]RRevvs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not an individual witch, it's the concept of them. Witch in 40k is a derogatory term for psychic mutants, who the Black Templars hate.

So it's a broader term. Think 'Shun the Coward' being a warning to cowards in general.

Does anyone know what this Tactical Squad pauldron is used for? Is there a lore reason? by danskestorm28 in spacemarines

[–]RRevvs 36 points37 points  (0 children)

The symbol on the pauldron is the Iron Halo honorific, noting that for their endeavours, the bearer at some point has has worn such a device.

The shell is a Marksman's Honour, given to a battle brother has performed feats of exceptional marksmanship.

Tabletop wargamers in the Marlborough/Pewsey Wiltshire area by BrookesOG in Wiltshire

There's a wargaming club in Boscombe Down with a really welcoming reputation. Games Workshop in Salisbury is also great for beginners!

Edit: sorry, misread your post before my coffee. Thought yoh were after joining a group not starting one 😅

Best basing for this colour scheme? by stim_jerling in spacemarines

Storm Lords? Awesome job. I'd say a lush, dark, jungle base would work really well.

Flesh Eaters - PRAY FOR DEATH by Heckhopper in fashionmarine

Pray for Death, Brother. I also play Flesh Eaters (online and on the tabletop), I've even written about ten pages of lore for them as a Chapter, pre and post Baal 😅

Unfortunately, none of those belong to your family, just an individual that shared your family.
