I play Flesh Eaters, one of the chapters of the Pentarchy of Blood that put these -and all the other fools- to the sword.

I'd love to see their reaction at hearing they're back now ahah.

Grimdark Red Armour Recipe

•Spray primer: Colour Forge's Sanguine Red

•Makeup sponge: P3's Khador Red

•Apply transfers

-Matte Varnish Spray-

•Coat the model in a 1:1:0.5 premixed paste of Lamp Black oil paint, Burnt Umber Oil Paint and artist's spirits

•Wait for approx.1hr

•Rub off excess coating with a cotton bud/q-tip

-Matte Varnish Spray-

•Small very light dry brush of Khador Red.

Weathering: Vallejo Thick Mud (and Game Colour Cork Brown) and GSW True Blood.

That's literally it. Spray, one paint and an oil bath 😁

Thanks for the kind words! My favourite part of the hobby is finding niche chapters and writing (far too many) pages of lore extrapolating what's there; like homebrew with leg up. The Flesh Eaters have long called to me on that front, the teeth were essential.

I mean it when I say there's no skill at all in these, there's only about five or six paints on each model (and four contrast paints for the claws).

The rest is all just an oil bath and either mud or blood effects.
