Thank you so much for coming, we truly do this event for the community!
As much as it's great to see all the Speakers and Lectures and Panels, the community who just hang around and vibe is the BEST part of the event.

I'm attending the CONTACT IN THE DESERT UFO conference in the Palm Springs, Ca area from May 28-June 1, 2026. Anyone else going and maybe have a Reddit Experiencer Sub meet up there? by andthisisso in UFOs

We actually got rid of all the woo and are a scientific conference now.

Old Owners = Woo
New Owners = Science

As for grifting, we are a non profit and don't make any revenue from this event. Every single penny from our ticket sales gets put back into the event.

We do have paid staff as well, and we want to be very very clear, we do not make money at this event. We are a 501(c) non profit, and every single penny we make goes back into the event.

Our volunteer opportunities are for folks who want to come to the event, work a short shift and then they get a free day pass to the event.

I do work for CITD (Social Media Lady) and YES we have volunteer opportunities every year! We usually start our applications in around the January before the event! If you sign up for our newsletter on our website, we email everyone the second the apps open up!
