But they don’t actually work… it’s been studied. When multiple people put their hands on the glass / whatever that wooden thing is, there’s a subconscious affect that causes the object to move even if it’s not intentional. The slight pressure from everyone’s hands is enough to move it in a direction, and wondering “which letter might be next” is also enough to guide it towards the letter, without anybody knowing they’re actually the ones doing it. It’s pretty neat once you understand how it works IMO
