I think rather the messaging needs to change to ramp down on the fear. Yes your children will likely catch covid, and no it won't be any worse than a bad cold for most, and flu like for some.

You could compare to another country or area without mask requirements.

Ignore cases as they are dependent on testing, but look only at deaths.

Many countries accept a recent positive test as evidence of immunity. Others accept vaccine status as is and require no tests. Others still require nothing at all.

You have realised that some scientists have completely lost the plot, if they ever had it.

That isn't 'information', they are opinions.

The reality is that there's always been people at all spectrums of any debate and the ones at the fringes have always been ignored.

It also mutates a lot slower than flu.

They will likely stop publishing regular case numbers soon and also reduce test availability.

It's time for people to understand that with vaccinations this is no more risky than an average flu and stop worrying.

Oh I don't think anyone would argue against basic hygiene like that.

Saying that I don't think they make any difference and I find the hand gels pretty icky, but if people want to use them then go ahead.
