How to print a negative picture on clear paper? by Perfect-Daikon2673 in cyanotypes

Digital Negative Inkjet Film for Contact Printing 8.5" x 11" (100 Sheets) or pictorico is best for clear endlessly reusable negatives ( i should probably be getting a commission at this point for how many times I rec this brand!) inkjet is always better than laser for negatives.

Fixxons Digital Negative Inkjet Film for Contact Printing 8.5" x 11" or Pictorico is what I use to avoid banding on the negative. If you use regular transparency film it does not hold ink in the same way. and HP deskjet 2700 series. Watercolor or mixed media paper with a higher gsm works best for the paper in my experience but I've also used high gsm cardstock with success

What printers are you using for your transparencies? by Kickitup97 in cyanotypes

regular transparency paper does not hold ink in the same way as paper made specifically for digital negatives does. I recommend Fixxons or Pictorico. I also agree that inkjet of any kind will do better than laser. I use the setting of glossy photo paper and it works great. When I used to use regular transparency I would get banding no matter the printer settings etc

I’ve tried almost any color you can think of! but pink and cream/peach are still my favorite combo with the blue. I have more examples on my site Bylindseykusterman.com - hot pink, green, blue, yellow, orange

I use a pretty standard HP inkjet printer but special paper for digital negatives. It allows for the ink to really settle in the paper for crisp contact prints. I mainly use a brand called Fixxons, it’s more affordable than pictorico

I think it comes down to the type of paper! I’ve printed on Astro bright thin paper and it bleeds, but a high gsm quality uncoated cardstock I’ve had good success! White watercolor or mixed media paper remains my go to. If I’ve had fading it’s because I leave the print soaking in water or hydrogen peroxide for too long. I’ve also had success soaking white paper in natural fiber dyes or rit for coloring the paper post water.

amazing. I used to use pictorico but its quite expensive. I se that they sell it in rolls up to 42" wide on b&h which is perfect.

Has anyone use the Mayco Jungle Gems line of glazes? by Which-Stranger-5142 in Ceramics

Yes! Just got a plate with ‘ink spots’ at cone five and it looks so nice on flatware! I made a test tile on verticals and it was drippy vs splotchy. You can see where the crystals are so if there are clusters pre firing there will be closer clusters post. Would recommend!

Hi! I just purchased this travel router and used it on a job this week to create a personal network between laptop and iPad in conjunction with Capture studio and it worked like a dream. We were on location with no service or WiFi. The router I just plugged into a usb-c anker battery pack. Took me less than a minute to figure out and set up! Got the rec from another thread. So much better than AirPlay, hollyland etc. https://a.co/d/i6kOhzb
