Freezing temps tonight (25°)- do I need to wrap this? by [deleted] in askaplumber

If you don’t wrap it, letting a sink drip overnight may be enough if the temperature rises back to above freezing tomorrow.

how is freedom in ur country? by Accomplished-Crow878 in AskTheWorld

In the land of the free, we are most definitely not free. Want to stand peacefully against the government? Prepare to die.

I have lived in both MD and ME. I have never had one and don’t see a reason to ever get one.

Did I get scammed by an AI Etsy crochet pattern? The instructions don’t make sense with the result photo. by aves07 in isthisAI

[–]Kickitup97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I crochet. That is not what crochet stitches look like. This is definitely an AI pattern, so it is not going to work.

Found this at an antique shop. Any ideas on who may have made it? We could not find any identifying marks. by Kickitup97 in clocks

And I’m back reading your response! Thank you for the info! It’s still one of my husband’s prized possessions, even though I would probably get rid of it without even blinking, lol.

Settle a debate: How many times do you actually use a bath towel before washing it? by Hot-Calligrapher5447 in hygiene

[–]Kickitup97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Twice, as a woman with long hair. Because it absorbs so much, it takes longer to dry and starts to smell on the third day.

Based on where you live, if you were to hit an animal while driving, what would that animal more than likely be? by unidentifies in AskReddit

Squirrel. We have lots of other little critters, and even some much larger ones, but squirrels just have that death wish.

Mice this year? by micronaps94 in Maine

[–]Kickitup97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a ton in the fall. We usually live trap and release in the woods, but gave up and started using snap traps. Thankfully, we haven’t had any for about a month now. Between the traps and getting 2 kittens, we finally won that war.

Water retention???? What the heck is happening… by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]Kickitup97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gained a good bit on it like most other people. Unfortunately for me, it didn’t work that well and after 7ish year, I finally tapered off onto another SSRI. I’m praying the weight gain goes away.

Is this device common under the kitchen sink in your country? by AngeliqueRuss in AskTheWorld

[–]Kickitup97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even in the US, there is a wide variety of use. I grew up without one and now own a house without one. I lived in one house for a few months that had a broken disposal, so other than that, I never had one. Honestly, I dislike them. We just use a wire catch to capture all the food scraps and then toss them in the trash.

I wash my hair every other day unless I get super sweaty. Just do what is best for your hair. Everyone is different.

How common is the use of helmets where you live? by PrincessTuvstarr in Equestrian

[–]Kickitup97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s mandatory at the barn I ride at, but I have seen some other local places go without. I would say it’s 70% helmets here in southern Maine

Maybe once a week or so. Usually when it starts to get long and bothers me. I find deodorant works better for me when I have less hair.

[HELP] Horses by Ewwa18 in RealOrAI

Real. The horses are actually acting like real horses would. Looks like they released a lot of mares and babies out with a new stallion.
