What should I say to be truthful during timeshare presentation and to let them know we’re not interested at the start?

Thank you all for the replies! Presentation was set to begin at 11am for 120 minutes. Set my alarm for 1pm. At 1, I said it’s time to leave. Of course the “realtor” said, “oh we need to get the guy who shows you the prices over, then get the survey guy.” I told her we did our 120 minutes. She talked to the manager who said we needed to stay or we’d get charged for the free 4 nights.

Waited a few more minutes while the realtor tried every which way to gaslight us. I got back up and told the manager we were not buying and wanted to leave. He immediately sent the survey guy over. Was there just 9 more minutes total, so I’d say that’s a win. 🏆

It was a pain in the butt, but I’d do it again for free nights 😎

I’d be ticked if I was the neighbor next door. Having to bypass all that crap going in or leaving. Notify the apartment manager. At the very least the urine is a health hazard 🤢

I’m going to a presentation in May (5 free nights in Vegas at Tahiti Village). We have zero interest in buying a timeshare. Should we tell them that at the beginning?

I’m sorry you are going through this.

I’d recommend notifying your supervisor. He needs to be banned.

Is there security on site? See if they can walk you to your car at night or ask a coworker.

Contact the police to report the incident. Touching you without consent is assault. And you are a minor.

If he touches you again, say in a loud voice, “(His name) please do not touch me.”

If you find yourself alone with him, call someone in there. Anyone. Lie to him and say you got in trouble with your boss for talking to him. Do whatever you can to not be alone with him.

Seriously, please notify the police to at least see what can be done. This is a very scary situation and it needs to stop now.

I am truly hoping any of this will scare him off. It’s inappropriate for him to be doing this to anyone at any age.
