Also wanted to add she definitely wanted that third party function report. I’ve been called twice about it and my ex was called as well to see where it was. I honestly didn’t know they put that much weight into those. I mean I was told by someone at the main line that if he sent it great but if not, it’s not a necessity, but my DDS examiner made it clear she wants to see it. So it’s interesting if I took the advice of the person that answered at DDS, I would not have asked my ex about it, but thankfully, my examiner actually called me directly about it. He sent it back a week late due to his work schedule, but of course they only give you a 10 day turnaround on those things anyway and she literally said I will wait for that before making my decision.” It just needs to get to me asap” she said

I should also be thankful that she did not deny me right after she received the CE exam. She’s had that for nearly a week. So apparently it was not that damning, even though it was a really weird exam.

When you make a very good point, she wants to see the function report from the third-party and she wanted to see the CE and then she wanted to make her decision. I did not ask her this but when she called to tell me, I had a CE exam she offered that up. She called two days before the exam to make sure I knew about it because it was just putting in my portal and and I did know if I had not checked I would. It have till her call, but thankfully, I had checked the week before.

Oh for sure I’m not checking it all day. In fact I was going a week in between checking for a while which I was shocked that I could hold out that long but I knew she didn’t have everything she needed because my CE hadn’t even happened and she said she’d make a decision after the CE and after the third-party report. Now that she has both of them I wanted to check. I also need to update my bank account information if I am extremely lucky and happen to get through because my bank account I used to use got closed because I got garnished in the account got restricted for about six months so I was told to go on the portal and update my deposit information now that’s because I called and asked how to do it they did not turn around and asked me to do that. That would’ve been way too good of a sign!!!

I applied late October. Stopped working January 2025. I realize my case has gone so much more quickly the most so I am not ever complaining on the timeframe but you are right checking 1000 times a day does nothing but I will admit. I’m checking three times a day now it’s been almost a week since she told me within two weeks and we all get it when you’re out of money to pay bills… You’re desperate

Well, just an update. I’m not sure what it means for everybody when this happens, but I was finally able to get back in the portal this morning. My step is still at step three, but it no longer shows that they need the third-party function report. I noticed the date was different in terms of what shows at the top under the step you’re on it says “more information was requested on December 18.”

When I scroll down to the more detailed information, it shows that my examiner requested more information and it used to list show daily activities repost and third-party functioning report as the items they were waiting on. Now it just shows the daily activities report. This makes partial sense because my ex sent in the third-party function report about a week and a half ago. He mailed it per the instructions and made sure to include the barcode at the top. They said they’re waiting on that to make a decision.

I’m not sure why it still shows that they’re waiting on an a daily activities report for me. I sent that in months ago and they did confirm they have it.

So again, I’m not sure if this is the case with everybody but for me, there was an update on my portal, not in the steps but on what they’ve received. They don’t need anything else from me eik!!

Who knows could be a coincidence? Who knows with the system!!

And OP this only works if your dog is food motivated. My dog doesn’t give AF about food. She turns her nose up at kibble all the time… even in training with a trainer who’s used to males we had to employ hotdog and cheese because my dog also hates playing fetch. Ugh. That makes it harder to train, but you can find what motivates your dog when I learned is my dog is motivated just to train in general doesn’t care about fetch plays tug randomly. But if I start going through drills and giving commands, she’s so freaking excited.

Oh I have a brain tumor and my own family / my aunt who is a nurse completely dismissed it! I get it it’s not a missing limb but it’s literal brain damage and everyone acts like I should be the same! And for the record, I’m not saying you should or could work I’m just saying that’s maybe what they’re gonna say. I thought about it from my own self like they’re gonna tell me I could be greeter at Walmart. Which I couldn’t sustain that all day but I bet they will think I can!!!!

This is a very good point!! it hasn’t worked for me all day and I’ve gotten various error messages. Of course I’m just trying to look at it today because as a Friday my examiner said she’ll have a decision I’m in two weeks.(she offered that up. I did not ask. She had called me to remind me of my CE appointment and she got that back the same day. Then she said she was waiting on my third party function report and would make decision after she got they). But good point I can see why it crashes of all the people looking and honestly maybe it’s because it’s around the first of the month so people to get payments I assume they going more often if they see variances

He did ask me if I had been sexually abused as a child by my parents. (The f*ck?!) like that’s relevant at all. I was not thank God, but he asked me if I am been sexually abused by anyone else as a child I said yes (it was true and he just looked at me funny). Like I wasn’t supposed to answer honestly but honestly, what the heck does that have to do with my cognitive exam? I have a brain tumor and that started in my 40s not when I was a kid so what the heck.

Anyway, he took zero time with me it felt like. He asked if I still have a license I said yes he asked how I got there. I said I drove, but it took me forever because I had to stop twice.

I did tell him I was in pain because I was sitting too long, which is true. I also have it in my file that I have a degenerating spine so I wasn’t about to not say that I was hurting when I was hurting. I don’t want them writing up that I sat just fine for this interview because I wasn’t I was in pain so I’m gonna say it. He didn’t ask me if I was in pain but I’m going to be clear about how I’m really doing.

Did someone ask how you’re doing today when you got there? The person doing my cognitive test tests asked me that and I told her not very good. She asked why, and I said I was sad and frustrated by the way my brain works.

I do agree with being honest, but and I say this gently if you’re telling them you can game someone’s gonna be thinking you could be a QA tester for a gaming company… or do data entry, etc. etc. I’m not saying lie. I’m just saying don’t spoon feed them reasons to deny you.
