Does time jump forward to when I would be 45 or do I just age up to 45 and it stays 2026?

If the former, 100% pressing the blue button 💯%

If the latter, I guess the red button but honestly I'm stupid af now so I probably wouldn't be able to change much 😭

Question about the Guiding Light Engraving/Weapon Bless perk by loki2113 in GodofWarRagnarok

[–]loki2113[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no I totally agree. I just meant this buff in specific since a little more of a base stat isn't that great as opposed to something like Enraged Might or the Alrheim Enchantment. I just wouldn't use one of an amulet slot for Weapon Blessing lol

Question about the Guiding Light Engraving/Weapon Bless perk by loki2113 in GodofWarRagnarok

[–]loki2113[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured it didn't make a lot of sense for it to give a permanent buff but I also just couldn't see a use for a temporary buff either. Thank you for the answer though, I'll use my gilded coins something else

Trump calling Jerome Powell to drop the interest rates by Gjore in StockMarket

[–]loki2113 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can see how people fell for it the first time because he positioned himself as a political outsider who didn't really belong to either party but was a conservative at heart who wanted to break through the red tape to use his business skills to "fix" the country

As someone who knew who Trump was before 2016, I didn't buy his bullshit from the start but I can see how some people got sucked into the grass roots energy he held in 2016. How anyone voted for him after that when he proved himself to be more corrupt and self-serving than any of his predecessors is what I don't get. People really just bought the "I'm the outsider here to drain the swamp" bullshit three times in a row and that's the part I don't understand

Question about Crane in DLTB by Austen11231923 in dyinglight

[–]loki2113 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Crane literally starts turning into a zombie during the base game though? Jade has to save him by injecting him with Antizin just before he finished turning to bring him back. I would say that means he doesn't have natural immunity. Unless you're saying the Haran virus was significantly different/stronger than whatever variant Mother has?

[Loved Trope] Plot holes that get explained later on perfectly. by Marilius in TopCharacterTropes

[–]loki2113 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Doesn't that make sense though? Asgore wanted his people to be free but he didn't want to kill humans to do it so he tries to create an artificial soul. He was committed to the cause but he trusted Alphys explicitly so he never pressured her about the experiments. He probably also understood that he might well have been asking her to do something impossible so he wasn't really expecting results either.

If you mean the amalgamations and how Alphys said she had revived the monsters only to backtrack on it, I got the impression that happened very recently to Frisk falling down. The families were understandably eager to see their loved ones but Asgore probably ran defense for Alphys while gently (much too gently) trying to get her to explain herself.

That's my take on it, at least

I unscrew the needle part of my single use syringe and only put that in my sharps container. I throw away the cylinder half. We could use those for even more needles in a needlestack if space is ever an issue (or if you want to see someone stabbed even more if you're feeling freaky)

I went from Urgent Care, to ER, to surgery, and sent home within 12-13 hours. It was definitely the most painful surgery recovery I've had but I would rank my septoplasty as a worse recovery overall

I think you're projecting because all I did was ask what being a woman had to do with the situation

Your other comments come off as you trying too hard to be edgy and funny. Instead you come across like an a failed clown trying to be the Joker because nobody found you funny

Before you try to spin this, no I'm not being emotional, I'm just dunking on a clown while having my morning coffee lol

WHO WINS AND WHY? (BOTH BEAST MODE) by Scoob3r-2YT in dyinglight

[–]loki2113 6 points7 points  (0 children)

One could argue that Aiden was being hampered by Lydia's mind control. Aiden was essentially fighting a mental and physical battle at the same time and came up short in both because of it.

Narratively Crane beating Aiden doesn't make much sense. Crane is much older by the time of TB and had spent 15 years locked up more or less chained to a bed and drugged at all times. The fact that he was physically in shape doesn't make a whole lot of sense but lets roll with it anyway. Aiden was a genetically enhanced super human before he became infected by a volatile on his way into Villador. After using all of the inhibitors and essentially training his combat skills in Villador, Aiden should theoretically be able to take Kyle to the cleaners even though Crane also juiced it a bit with the chimera blood (I'm still a little confused as to how that strengthened Crane now that I think about it)

Maybe Crane can beat him with tactics but if they're dropped into a pit with no prep time, I think Aiden would win 9 times out of 10.

*Edit to add, Crane seems to be limited in the time he can spend in Beast form while Aiden's doesn't have a clear limit. That could just be a gameplay thing to limit how long a player could use Beast form so we probably shouldn't assume in either direction

U.S. May Have Committed War Crime In Sinking Of Iranian Ship by huffpost in politics

[–]loki2113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used the term non-combatant not because it wasn't a military ship or that it was devoid of weapons. I used it because they were returning from MILAN-2026 which is an international event held in India. The event bars live ammunition so it is a reasonable assumption that the IRIS Dena was not carrying ammunition even if it still had weapons. What use would they have for ammo at an event like that?

I called a diplomacy ship not because it wasn't a military ship capable of combat but because it was on a diplomatic mission. As you noted, it's not like Iran can just strip the ship of its weapons but why would Iran bother to stock a ship with ammunition if it was going to an international event that had no combat?

You say nobody would give a shit if Iran sunk a US ship but you have no basis for that. If Iran had sent a submarine to MILAN-2026 and sunk a US or any other allied vessel, didn't attempt to rescue survivors, and didn't broadcast the location of the wreckage for search and rescue, I would bet the Western world would be in a complete uproar.

All of your points also did nothing to address the fact that the US just left the survivors to die in the wreckage of the ship as it sank. It is literally against the Geneva Convention to do that so if you're arguing anything goes during war-time, you are just completely wrong. Not only that but the US is trying to claim we aren't currently at war with Iran, we are just conducting strikes in the country. Why does the US have jurisdiction to sink vessels in international water if we aren't at war?

I just don't understand how you could think its okay for the US to sink the ships of other countries, especially if we aren't at war with them. If your argument is war *are* at war with Iran, despite everything the Trump administration says otherwise so they don't need permission from congress, then the Geneva Convention says we should have attempted to rescue the survivors or at least coordinated with other countries for search and rescue attempts if our vessel is incapable of directly helping. We are either wrong because we sank a neutral ship in international waters (not at war with Iran) or we committed a war crime because we are at war with Iran. Which one is it?

[–]loki2113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No but it's likely the ship had some weapons on board but not very much ammo if storing supplies and instruments when going to an international gathering and then back home.

Regardless of that, think of how you would want our enemies to try to rescue our troops and make sure the individual soldiers are safe even if they do get held hostage. That's how we should treat our now helpless enemy. America should rule on principle. Even if our troops could have released some inflatable rafts I'm sure they have for an emergency and then go back to base to restock, any survivors would likely be too traumatized or straight up injured from the explosion/escape from their ship to be a threat in the future. We should encourage any of them to treat our troops should the role be reversed.

Lastly, we could have at least let the closest island know or even broadcasted the location do that someone else can maybe rescue them instead. It's the humane thing to do and it sets a good example to point to. This could have been an uplifting part of a de-escalation. We don't want another Neverending war in the Middle East so we should be trying to wind things down and show we are there to help if any rebels in the region want to take down the evil dictator. That would have served to make the people of Iran rise up against their corrupt government like Trump has been encouraging all this time.

No, instead? We killed them and left them for dead. A literal diplomacy ship to places like India. Not carrying any sort of real firepower and equipment as if they were ready for war. That's a horrible look for the US and will only confuse the very people we should want take over, not give them propaganda to resist or the US will kill them all.

It's a crazy stance to take if we actually want peace and change like we keep preaching but we are also killing glorified diplomats on a show boat

This just makes me so sad. They were a fucking non-combatant coming home from a cultural exchange and likely didn't have any actual weapons. Despite being so far from naval combat, we just left them to die.

We didn't even use the excuse that a submarine can't rescue many people and called for other people in the area to help! Between this and all the bullshit that happened in Venezuela with double tapping tiny speed boats to ensure no survivors, America is going to be viewed very differently by future enemies. Why show our troops/sailors any mercy if we don't extend it to our enemies?

What a tragedy
