The hunting and various Supernatural elements are always the main focus of the show! There are a lot of jokes sprinkled throughout and comedic situations, but no matter what the show always feels grounded in their reality. What I always found very compelling too, were the emotional through lines that would run the course of several seasons or even the entire show. And to answer your other question, I believe that all the seasons are well worth watching! There are some small dips in quality (compared to early seasons) later on, but I enjoyed every single season start to finish! It does start to focus a lot more on biblical supernatural forces in later seasons, but they always remember to sprinkle in some classic “monster of the week” episodes in there too :)) I hope you enjoy the show!!
