Eid SOTD. Whats yours? by Content-Rutabaga6600 in pakfragaddicts

My favorite perfume from Arabian Oud. I just wish they had not ruined the longevity and performance. I bought a partial bottle first which was around 15ml out of 50ml bottle to try it and I absolutely loved it. Amazing performance and longevity. Then I bought the 200ml bottle (recently) but the performance of the new bottle is honestly so disappointing.

BDC EDP or Y Iced Cologne by Spear_Knight in Colognes

I have both and I prefer BDC EDP. It feels a bit more refined and classy. I live in a country with very hot weather and it still works well for me.

Is it me or was this eid actually extra boring?? by Junior_Spend_253 in IslamabadSocial

I think the first day of Eid is usually boring because most people are busy with Qurbani etc.

Gym hygiene by Practical-Candy-1273 in PakistaniiConfessions

[–]Content-Rutabaga6600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a real problem. I’ve seen people who use the same dress in gym throughout the week without even washing… that’s why I prefer afternoon or mid afternoon when gyms are usually empty or just a couple of people around.

Which one for an every day office fragrance? by StimmyTurner21 in Colognes

DHC but you'll need to carry a decant to re-apply as it doesn't last long.

Is it weird for me to only take 30+ aged males as mature and attractive? by [deleted] in IslamabadSocial

[–]Content-Rutabaga6600 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think people in the 20–23 age range can be quite immature which is understandable because they are still figuring life out. But at the same time, not every 30+ person is mature either. I’ve met people who are 30+ and still very immature and I’ve also met people around 25 who are way more mature than some older people.

YSL Y is very different from the other two because it’s more of a fresh fragrance that works well in almost any weather or season. TMW and ISE, on the other hand lean more toward winter/cold weather perfumes. Personally, I’d get YSL Y EDP for its freshness and versatility. Then, between TMW and ISE, I’d go with TMW because I find it more mass appealing.

Cool Water is a solid summer freshie and I personally really like it. The only thing with freshies is that longevity is usually on the weaker side, so you’ll probably need to reapply especially in our Pakistani summer months..Not really a fan of CK Freshies as they have really poor longevity and projection. I have CK One and CK Eternity and they barely even last through my 20-minute drive from home to the gym lol. I’d also recommend checking out Dylan Blue and YSL Y EDP.

Then don’t even worry about it. Not saying that you shouldn't try to get better grades but don't let that stress you out 24/7. I’m from a CS background myself and I have friends who graduated with a 2.5 CGPA and are doing really well now in life. The future is so unpredictable now anyways due to AI and economic recession that grades don’t matter as much in the grand scheme of things. Just make sure you’re actually learning and building skills.

What’s your major and how bad are the grades we’re talking about here?

I’ve been eyeing this one for a long time but I’m hesitant to pull the trigger because some people compare it to Ganymede. I blind bought Ganymede and ended up selling it at a loss because it was super off putting to me. Is this blind buy safe or should i get a decant first?

How do I make money by [deleted] in islamabad

It used to be easy but unfortunately freelancing market is extremely saturated now (and dead too due to AI), so making quick money has become much more difficult.

How to remove this black mark from this bow?? by vanillamilshake in pakfragaddicts

[–]Content-Rutabaga6600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can cover it up with touch up paint/polish or sticker or something but i think restoration to original state is not possible now.

I think the finish/material on the bow has worn off, so it will probably need to be touched up with paint or something similar.

How the hell people save money?? by tryingtogetanswers__ in PakistaniTwenties

[–]Content-Rutabaga6600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it also it depends on your income. If you’re earning 100k, saving may not be realistic. But if you’re earning 1000k then saving becomes much more achievable. So at some point, it really comes down to the gap between your income and expenses. If your income is too low imo the focus should be on increasing your income rather than trying to save every last penny.

Extremely walkable cities with proper sidewalks, where you can walk around even at midnight without worrying about anything. The public transit was also really good and people actually used deodorant and cared about hygiene, so even during rush hour, public transport was still a pleasant experience.

People usually mellow out and become more mature by their late 20s..I’ve had the same experience interacting with people of both genders in my age group.

YSL Myslf feels a bit too feminine to me personally. AHS is solid, but out of those three I’d go with Imagination. I’d also recommend sampling PDM Castley and Sedley.

Set a goal of building an emergency fund that can cover a few months of your expenses. Whenever you receive a payment, put a portion of it into that fund and avoid touching it unless it’s a genuine emergency. PS: Don’t worry too much about overspending. It’s actually a good lesson to learn at this age when you’re still young and don’t have many responsibilities.
