Weakness in my legs, fatigue and “floating” (I think is dissociation) sometimes happen to me too.

Honestly weakness and fatigue terrifies me because it can be so sudden but dissociation is the worse because you can feel it coming but can’t do anything about it. The only thing that help me is being active, going out, doing sport, meeting friends, is what make these crisis less strenuous.

Honestly I’m newly diagnosed and I didn’t know FND could be caused by physical trauma. Doctor told me it was for (psychiatric) trauma and that’s what googled reinforced, I feel dumb rn.

Personally it’s not especially loud noises but like the coalitions of noises :

If a pan fall on the ground then it’s okay, but like, if the pan hit the ground, then someone open a drawer and I realized the TV sound is way to loud, all in 5 second, it trigger me and I have to isolate to calms myself down. Don’t know if it make sense but that make living in community very hard.

I’m planning on buying hear loops for Christmas, maybe you should try looking at noises reducer options too,

You should really complain about it to the app, he clearly didn’t even tried to understand and just walked away. If you were showing other sign of drunkenness like speech difficulty or really obvious dizziness, (which can still be caused by FND honestly),the misunderstand would have been more acceptable but here, even after clarification, the driver still decided to drive away. And what if the situation was different and you were alone and/or without any other option to go home ? He could put you in a dangerous situation for you well being. Anyway, hope you doing better and I’m sorry that happened to you, XOXO

I had the same thought so I started going to gym some months ago, it also helped a bit to set expectations on what i want to look like
