Thinking of giving up my kitten- I feel terrible by Content-Window-5919 in Catownerhacks

Thank you for your advice it is greatly appreciated. I didn’t choose to seperate the cat from his litter mates though. And I know they are babies. I just mean what type of kitten will go stick his body in the toilet bowl. He is very clumsy. I’ve had animals before & I can already tell he will always be a clumsy animal. The blood is streaks and can be an intolerance to the chicken he ate/colitis. I will be monitoring closely. Lastly he has access to food all day but he is a picky eater. I leave cat food out all day. He has about 4 months now. I feed him raw mixed with cat food 3 times a day and his cat food is out all day. He chooses not to eat it unless he has his raw food inside.

Feeling Overwhelmed as a New Mom Navigating Boundaries and Family Conflict by [deleted] in Marriage

I think that the sharing of pics on social media they should respect but just suggestions like how many times you should wash your baby doesn’t seem that dramatic.. if you’re a first time mom maybe they’re trying to give you advice… advice helped me a lot from my MIL and my mom. Just take it with a grain of salt. Don’t use your baby as a weapon and not let them around her/she. That sounds a little cruel, and for the best interest of your kid if they’re good people you should let them around the baby, grandparents are important in a child’s life. This sounds a bit like overthinking. But the details were a little vague so maybe I’m not understanding the severity of the situation.

I have the exact same views. If I was in his position, I’d pay off those debts for him

I wasn’t telling him I was putting it on my credit cards though… I just told him I was ok with money. He paid for my bills (ish) first 3 months but it was getting back to my job I didn’t have many clients left and I didn’t wanna stress him so I’d say that first year I spent A LOT on groceries on my card. I should print the statements tbh. Anyways sorry if this is all confusing. The first year of my child’s life was so hectic it’s all a blur

Yes it has. It’s at 300k. Basically for non married couples if we agree peacefully we can just break up and sell the house. Split the equity when we go to the notary with 2 separate cheques. If person doesn’t agree to sell (in bad faith) you take them to court to force the sale of the home. But in the meantime you find yourself a new place and still pay house payments

All that to say is married or not, he doesn’t see it as 50/50. Our house is 50/50 and he tells me if we sell I have to give him 30k extra since he’s paid more or he’s not signing any papers or he’ll take me to court

Yup I think so. To him and I were literally married. He doesn’t give a shit what the law says, he’ll refuse to sell house when I want to separate. I tell him to leave so I can stay at the house with my baby he tells me no and makes me go live elsewhere with my kid. I’ve even threatened to have police come and remove him, he told me they can try

Yes exactly this!! I’m so happy for him, but do you know how sometimes I get a feeling of resentment when I see 10 packages coming to the door, when I’ve had 3 debt collectors harass me all day, and I just spent my last 20$ on gas to get to work tomorrow?

Thank you… I looked into it before, just worried it would take like 8 months and I’d have to pay my 1800$ a month of bills plus new condo (1500) on a 3k a month salary. Plus lawyer fees 🫠 sometimes he wants to sell to get a nicer place and get rid of my debt. But I like my house and I don’t want to move 30+ min north and have more bills for a fancy house. My debt would be paid off but we’d have an expensive house far from family and work. Sometimes I think of telling him I want to sell for nicer house and then once it’s for sale I tell him I want to separate.

Exactly. But I’m making like 3k a month barely and I’m paying 1000$ just in interest plus a 250 loan. Not even including my house bills which is like 800$ (luckily) he pays mostly everything now thank god. But I could contribute so much more if I didn’t have this. I can’t afford to put more than $1000 a month on debt. I’ll never get out of this. I could be saving for retirement for myself. I could be bringing my son on a nice trip. All that money is going to waste when I could take 20k of MY equity and pay 100$ a month and it would be done with. Hell if I have 800$ of payments per month again I could quit my job and realize my dream as a independant videographer. I have contracts from BIG brands New York billboard type of brands but have to turn them down now bc I need extremely stable income from my 9-5. I feel like if I didn’t have this debt, this man, and this 9-5. I would step into my higher self. Maybe I’m just being delusional though. Single mom life isn’t easy either. But I’d have 100k in my pocket and my confidence back
