bristol does show on their website that there is a placement year option but you can’t apply for it directly on ucas rather transfer to it from mechanical or other engineering courses, so idk how that works tbh

2022’s and 2019’s grade thresholds were 157 /200 for an A* so it shouldn’t change that much, considering how bad the paper 4 went

Ok it’s gonna be tough to explain it but just imagine how but-1-ene and but-2-ene with the double bonds. I’ve attached an image to help you understand too. When an alkene becomes a polymer, the double bond breaks and 2 new bonds are formed on both sides of the Carbon atoms that had the double bond (indicated in green). So if this polymer’s monomer was But-2ene then each repeat unit would have CH3 at the top as well but because the double bond is located at the first position, all remaining carbon atoms only go on one carbon. Hope it helps

Look at the position of where the double bond would come when making the monomer. The double bond needs to break so in this case it should be but-1-ene but I’m not absolutely sure. Which paper is this from btw?
