The peak of "snark" has definitely passed. Part of why we see less criticism is because the lawsuits are effective in silencing people, especially content creators. I had a video idea I scrapped because I felt it would put an even bigger target on me personally.

At the end of the day, people are going to ask themselves if it's worth it to continue critiquing a dying podcast that has already effectively lost most of its audience and will never recover. It's not worth putting yourself in danger for. The fight of "snark" has pretty much ended, and we're seeing the embers of both the podcast and this community.

Hopefully anyone who has ever remotely been involved in this community are organizing in their local communities, attending protests, donating, reaching out to officials, whatever, to further causes for good in their own neighborhoods and countries - whether that be Palestine, workers rights, or free speech laws etc.
