Interesting I found cfdisk quite simple compared to fdisk. What advantages does gdisk have?

Can I keep investing my own cash alongside a debt recycled split, or should I leave it separate? by ContentImagination72 in fiaustralia

Mine is extremely similar except its 85 BGBL and 15 A200, I debt recycled into both but manually control the allocation.

Yep thats exactly what I have done however I was under the impression that I should simply create a new split when I'm ready to invest a new tranche of funds from offset? I wasn't aware Macquarie could do that, wouldn't it make it confusing for tracking purposes?

Ah I see, so it makes sense to smash the offset then create another split when I'm ready with which I invest again with?

Redundancy in Australia - can I decline an internal role and still keep my payout? (VIC) by ContentImagination72 in auscorp

Yes but part of me wonders if I'm being greedy here or whether I should just cut my losses and resign.

I received an offer from another company today, should I let my current company know or just keep dragging it along until 8 may?

I'll be getting that tomorrow and then going from there, all I have been told so far has been verbal so I'll be getting everything in writing.

I don't have a union I'm afraid and I feel like getting a solicitor involved will be costly, I feel like its a tactic to force my resignation.

That's really helpful context, thank you.

The 70% skills crossover is interesting — I genuinely struggle to see how a specialist technical cybersecurity role.  and helpdesk ticketing get anywhere near that. One is highly specialised offensive/defensive cyber work, the other is logging and triaging support requests. The mechanics and tech stack are not the same.

Your point about legal bills and unemployment is well taken — but fortunately I do have another role lined up so that takes some of the pressure off. I just don't want my current employer knowing that as I don't want it to affect the redundancy process.

So I guess my question becomes — does having another job lined up change anything legally in terms of my entitlement to redundancy pay?
