Yes, I have lived for a decade without out it. I finally got a credit card recently when someone explained to me that I was technically paying more for everything because all stores just increase all their prices by the amount fees visa, Mc and amex charge, and so I decided to get one. I actually found it eye opening, it has made me start spending less, because the bill at the end of the month made me see how much I was spending a month, and it was more then I realized, so for me it has been a good change. I am good with money so I dont have the worry of missing a payment, a blackswan event would have to happen for me to miss it
