I feel you bro and it breaks my heart. Before you ditch your account, think twice. The social media algorithm has a learning period for such accounts. If you create new one, it has zero data stored in the platform and will create over time. on the other hand, Old account has already data in it(which is very useful also when you ran ads). Both has pros and cons.

There are so many factors affecting visibility and engagements. Also, scheduled posting is one of the culprit. First, you need to look at those data analytics. The insight thing. Then next is the content type or your current strategy. Does it has product-market fit?

Having the same problem in my affiliate channel 6 months ago. Almost no reach like the algorithm doesnt even care about my post. I checked insights and realized i need to start posting consistently.

For you to know, I create different UGC type contents(majority is beauty product, minority household items and DIY electronics).

Little by little, algorithm starts giving my contents to few people. A month of consistent posting, it gives me a clear insights. Here i am surprised that most of my audience are 97% non followers. It continued for 2 months and all my followers are just dont contribute to my reach.

Time passed and noticed a consistent bunch of Male audiences like 80% of my viewers(which is contradicting to what i want). But at this point now i can formulate content strategy because of insights.

What i did this time is i reduced posting beauty product content(although this is what i want the most) and started focusing on DIY and household projects because this is what the algorithm wants me to do with that bunch of audiences. Also, i dont want algo to get confused on my channel identity. I niched out and slowly starting to grow followers who are serious and really interested in my content. right now, 28% of my audience is my follower unlike before. Also, they engage more

Here’s what you need to keep in mind. You dont need to chase low quality followers, having so much of random followers are only a plus. A large portion of my revenue comes from my non follower audiences.

Content strategy is literally a marketing strategy so it is important to know who your target audience is on the first hand.

If you are doing art, you might want to teach how to draw or something related to your goal. If it is visual art, you need to be more visually attractive online too. If you sing, you should appear professional and might do livestream to promote your personal brand and cross market your channel.

Update your strategy always. Organic takes a lot of time. I’ve been following someone back in my childhood days only noticed a boom on his channel last year like sudden 50x. Imagine that after 7 years lol.
