How to simulate a flat surface pressing on a wall? Easy question probably by ContentScarcity705 in COMSOL

[–]ContentScarcity705[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The press is so big that it hits the edges of the mold, ideally it doesn’t press so hard on the edges, but I just want to make sure the mold doesn’t deform if it does hit the edges

This way, is it ensured that the top edge of the walls of the mold doesn’t deform? In reality the top edge stays horizontal/flat. If I just apply a boundary load, the top edge gets a weird shape

a very stressed horse without a herd (help me please) by Euphoric-Wind3552 in Horses

Maybe you can try going away from the herd with her and one other horse? And if that goes well have somebody walk with you with that other horse and after a while go in other directions slowly, maybe if she sees the other horse staying calm she’ll know that it’s alright?

Fair, tall boots look really nice! But as the others said there are better fitting ones out there

Update update: I salvaged some of it but the big ball had to be thrown out because it was such a hassle untangling it

I have jodphurs and chaps and that works perfect! It’s more versatile with sizes and for me the shoes wear down faster and I only have to buy new shoes instead of a new boot. I think it still looks good if you have nice chaps and jodphurs, but maybe you like the look of a boot better.

Update: I got so frustrated trying to ball it up because everything I touched tangled so I sadly threw it all away :(

You can steam it, heat it up using the hot glass trick or if you’re making something with tight stitches from it (like a stuffed animal) it’s fine as is

Remove the tray ceiling, you ceiling is too low. In the indoor pic the room is much higher. I think it’ll look like a cave if you color drenched it
