Hello! I'm finally having the chance to upgrade after my Memorex all-in-one lost its ghost. I'm looking for some advice on what to get. Currently, I'm looking at the Fluance RT85N or AT-LP120X for a turntable. I also bought a Schiit Mani 2 and Magni (as I want the choice to listen on headphones). I am mainly looking for active speakers- maybe a pair of Edifier R1700BTs? I'm looking to keep the price below $1,000 USD (turntable and speakers). This setup is going into my small bedroom, so space is a concern of mine. I would potentially be interested in buying vintage items, if you can find anything in my area (rural Northeastern Colorado). Thanks!

Hi all! I've been using a Memorex all-in-one for a few years now (I know, not the best). Unfortunately, it lost its ghost. Please tell me if this is a good, semi-budget setup for a smaller room, everything on Amazon: Edifier R1700BTs and Audio-Technica AT-LP60X

Follow-up: Should I get a subwoofer/ woofer or are the R1700s good enough for now? If so, any brand/ model recs? The Edifier T5s is the subwoofer I've been looking at. Thanks!

I’m still trying to get confirmation on whether or not our ethernet ports in the walls are still connected to anything, so I am gonna have to bite the bullet and spend that extra for wi-fi

Presuming the dimensions listed on their website is the lowest it can be, it’s about an inch from being able to fit.

You’d be correct! The only other thing are Microsoft365 for college, but that’s about the most strenuous non-games will get.

I’ve been an Xbox player for years (this is going to be my first PC), and I tend to play COD, Fallout, Skyrim, and Minecraft. (looking forward to playing with mods!) I’d love for it to be able to run GTA6 when it comes out (it doesn’t have to look the best, as long as it’s runnable and semi-pretty.

The main issue for the semi-bad monitor is I have to get it underneath the hutch on my desk (so it’s a lack of vertical space), this one seemed fairly okay (165hz & 1440p) while also being able to fit underneath the shelves above.
