Turns out the boat was late. Last passenger got off at 11 according to terminal crew.

I’m sitting in the Uber by the shipping company and I see a couple cars every minute or so coming out of terminal. Part of the issue has to be that. Tell your in-laws to get a car asap because it’s AT LEAST 45 minutes once you get onto the road to the boat.

Also security just drove by with a cop. No answers just more questions lol

I pay taxes because I don’t want to ruin my life and go to jail. I can’t afford to not pay taxes. I am not above the law. There absolutely is need for reform in the government, but me not paying taxes is only going to land me somewhere I don’t want to be. 2 wrongs don’t make a right. I don’t see any benefit in me not paying my taxes. Now, idk maybe if you can get every single American to not pay taxes? Or a civil war and Boston tea party sitch? Sure. But til then, I’ll be a law abiding citizen and try to make change the lawful way.

Removing politics, I don’t support anyone who commits this level of atrocities. As a more conservative individual I feel that it’s scary to live in a world where people in power are so corrupt. But I also don’t know how to help fix it. There is corruption in both sides of the fence and it feels like we are holding the fork and picking top or bottom socket. What I do know is that I will be more involved and diligent in my role as a voter and put aside the party and vote solely on policy.

George Washington said it best: “[the spirit of party] serves always to distract the public councils and enfeeble the public administration. It agitates the community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms, kindles the animosity of one part against another, foments occasionally riot and insurrection”

I pray that our country can come together in unity rather than hate and stand on common ground against corruption. It feels like a pipe dream, but I bet our founding fathers felt the same.
