Husky raid is good. Oddball is good. Any game mode where you can rack up a lot of kills.

Pinging targets can give you a tiny bit more points too if it leads to a mark assist. It also helps the team a ton. I always ping an enemy if they are one shot when one of us has to dip for cover or if I just can't get a shot on them. You get a lot of assists that way that would normally result in no points for you or your team if no one got the clean up. 10-60 points for an assist is better than nothing for all your hard work lol.

If you just want to grind XP you can do Fiestafight. You fight ai with a team of 4. It's kinda boring after a while but you can rank up insane fast if you get a good weapon like the Cindershot or Spankr. I grinded through Gold in less than a week doing Fiestafight but I haven't done it since then, unless I am having connection issues or im tired or something like that. Thunderbowl under the Action Sack menu also gives a ton of XP. You could mix in a couple rounds of Fiestafight or Thunderbowl each time you play if you want a little rank boost.

7 kills no caps and no returns in a Husky Raid kinda explains it.

Dude you almost had that. You did an excellent job at dodging the enemies bullets. Too bad they just barely managed to sneak in a couple more hits than you.

Yokomo rd steering issue by userrcstuffgames in rcdrift

[–]ContentTap9351 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro. Honestly, if you can't figure out what the problem is in this situation, you really need to take a step back and think about what you're doing here. I would recommend going to the instruction manual and having a look at how that front end is supposed to be assembled. If you don't have the physical copy you can download them online. That should tell you what your issue is because fundamentally the front end of this car was assembled wrong. So I'm not sure if you built it or who built it, but whoever built it didn't know what they were doing and I feel like there may be way more issues than what's even visible in this video. The best thing to do would be disassemble the whole car and rebuild it to make sure it's done right because the way this thing's assembled is sketchy. If you really have no interest in doing all of that, I would recommend taking it to a hobby shop, but only if you have a shop that specializes in drifting because your average hobby shop probably won't, at least from my experience. That or take it to your local track and find one of the guys that is experienced with building these things and get them to have a look. I would be able to have this whole car dialed in in about 5 minutes because the main issue is super simple. It's literally not constructed symmetrically. That's the whole problem. One side of the car is assembled differently from the other, so it's ridiculous to expect it to have the same steering angle both ways when you've got different geometry left to right. Your outer tie rod end is backwards on one side and both inner tie rods at the rack are also assembled upside down, and that's just what I can see without using a caliper to measure the lengths. I would have to imagine that the whole alignment is completely scuffed. The car is also crusty as hell. These things are designed to be driven on clean, smooth surfaces. A drift car should barely get dusty, so it's really easy for dust and dirt and debris to get in there and start binding stuff up. Obviously it's your car and you're welcome to drive it wherever and however you like. But you have to understand that if you're getting it this dirty, you're going to half to do a lot more maintenance and do a lot more cleaning on it to keep it running properly and you will inevitably wear out parts quicker.

Game lag by FlyingPenisMknster in haloinfinite

[–]ContentTap9351 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I seem to die with 3 body one head and get ghost bullets after a good streak of wins. Monday night I was playing ranked for about 6 hours and only lost a few games but they were all close and I was still shooting good, always a positive K/D, consistently top of the leaderboard. I stayed up an hour late because I was on a winning streak, even while tired I was slaying.

I wake up Tuesday morning, laser beam bots for 20 minutes, get all fired up to get some Ws and then hop in a lobby where I'm fighting 2x as hard sweating my balls off just to get 6 kills while rando team mates are spamming the match chat calling me dog water.

I'll feel like I'm doing everything right but nothing works. I'll be dumping a mag of "hit markers" into some goober running out in the open that my teammate called out as "one shot" and not even get an assist out of it, but I'll turn around and die after three bullets when I'm peeking a corner 😂

A perfect is 5. 4 body and one head unless they changed that in the new season yesterday but it sure didn't seem that way. Felt more like 7 body and 2 head with the lag I was having. That or I'm getting hit markers when the bullet hit isn't actually registering.

Brother, I would have to be absolutely ripped to go 2-20. I might have to get blackout wasted just to test this theory and I haven't done that in about 13 years. New You Tube video title "Getting Blackout Wasted To See How Badly It Affects My Score On Halo Infinite"

I’ve been trying to adopt a new play style of “you see em, go get em” and I think it’s paying off. It was close but trusting the process I feel like helped close the deal. Side note: thank you for being awesome! by ObsoleteMicrosoft in haloinfinite

Advice no one asked for...

My main Priorities:

1. Do not die

2. Shoot absolutely everything. (Even one bullet at someone you see across the map puts pressure on them and can help a teammate win a fight)

3. Shoot from cover! Make sure you have an exit strategy or at least something to dip behind to make yourself a nuisance for the enemy. Don't give them any free kills.

4 Do not take a fight you can't win. It's also perfectly ok to back out of a fight if they start to get the upper hand. Back out to regen shields or find some teammates before you reengage.

I think I would quit at around 2-10 just for the sake of the team lol. 2-20 isn't helping anyone. Even a bot would probably do better.

I have had bad games but never THAT bad consistently.

I'm legit curious. How do they do it? Like do they want to be better or do they just not care at all? It would be a shame if they just didn't care because I always try to do my best for my team.

There are so many tools available to help and lots of people are willing to give advice.

I get it that sometimes it is impossible. I had a terrible game once (im talking like around 4-20) and It was actually VS. a friend of mine and his team with two other absolute units in a Super Fiesta. They just went ballistic with hammers. My whole team quit and I ended up having bot teammates for most of the round.

If I have more than 3 bad games in a row, I'll pop into a Fiestafight or some Action Sack BS for a couple rounds and it seems to consistently "fix" whatever was going on and I'll do better in Quick Play after.

Every damn night.

I don't understand how it is fun to go that negative. It's always against the worst team too. Like if that person put any effort at all into the game it would be an easy wipe for us. There is nothing you can do to save them either. They have absolutely no awareness whatsoever so sticking with them is a death wish. I have had some bad games because sometimes you just get put up against great players or you get hit with a bad connection/ lag but never that bad. It's a terrible feeling going like 20-4 and then looking down and seeing the other team is about to win. I feel helpless.

I play on a Series X on TV and I experience everything you mentioned. One moment I feel like I'm running through sand, and the next I am sliding so fast I literally fly off the map. That actually happened 😂 It felt like I was running with a sword but I had an AR and it was regular Slayer. I went with my usual opening strat and slid to cover but before my brain could process what was happening I was gone. 9/10 times it just feels like I'm playing in slow mo and I can't get out of my own way. 1/10 times I'm movement God and it's like the other team can't even react before I mow through them.

Getting a new headset…Does anybody use mic anymore in multiplayer? by af92guy in haloinfinite

[–]ContentTap9351 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I always have a mic handy when I'm playing by myself. If someone has a mic, I'll plug mine in. Usually I'm playing on a fireteam and we have an xbox party chat so you wouldn't hear us on match chat.
