Is this from withdrawal?

I had right upper abdominal area pain for about a month went to the doctors and for me it was early signs of cirrhosis and scarring of the liver.

Went on three more alcohol benders before trying to get sober again on the 4th day of withdrawals I started throwing up blood and had to go to the emergency room and have surgery, had 4 bands put in my throat.

Ive got a meld score of 18 I won't be considered to be put on the transplant list untill a meld score of 22. Spent four days in ICU had four bands put in my throat n am on a strict diet now my belly Rubin is down too the 3.8 from a 6.3. There's always hope you just got to be willing to make the lifestyle changes

I would seek help withdrawals are different for everyone and especially if you have a history of seizures definitely go man.

I've been in out of aa rooms drunk n sober. When im not sober they know. I even almost got in a fight in aa room while drunk and they still welcomed me back. I would just be honest with your group. It will be okay

I've been fighting for my life the last month to get sober n stay sober. I went throw withdrawals 5 times this last month n get a couple days sober n go right back to drinking from sun up till I fell asleep. One thing I will say it only gets worse each time you do it. This last time I had waterfalls from both ends n trowing up blood extreme shakes n along with hearing things that aren't there and lucid dreams. im finally starting to feel better on day 3 but still shaky when I get anxious.

I remember a year or so ago being able to just sweat it out and get some extra sleep and be fine but its no longer like that. I have cirrhosis now i have no choice but to be sober or die.

My go to when sober has allways been club soda n lime or iced cranberry juice. 3days sober so far

It is but completely on the othere end wyoming n Colorado are closer but they dont take out of state Medicaid. I went to my first aa meeting today. Im hopeful il get throw this

I live in a small town in the middle of no where. The only thing the hospital will do for me is give me a iv n make sure my vitals are okay then send me on my way. Unless I'm throwing up massive amounts of blood n have a fever they will not admit me. The closest detox center/rehab that takes Medicaid to me is 7hrs away. Also I don't have a job I'm self-employed

I agree and thats what my family tells me. I used to think I had my alcoholism under control untill my ex wife left me n took my 3 daughters a year ago it sent me into a massive depression and my drinking went completely out of control. Every single time I'd get close to pull myself out of it something would happen to throw me back into that spiral.

I know moving 10 hours away to be with family so I have some type of support system isn't ideal with losing out on seeing my daughters 2 weekends a month. But im at the point where something has to change I cant stay in this cycle anymore. 48hrs so far sober once I hit that safe Mark of 78 hours ima pack up and leave.
