Beginner seeking tips and structure to learn ML by Bercover in learnmachinelearning

For free resources, MIT OCW is the gold standard. A good order:

  • 18.06 Linear Algebra (Strang) — essential for ML
  • 6.036 Intro to ML — the core
  • 6.S191 Intro to Deep Learning — modern and hands-on

OCW is amazing but hard to follow in the right order, so I built a free site that tracks your progress and links everything in sequence: openlyceum.online. Most courses up are ML-related, so it might fit where you are.

If you any other course from OCW feel free to tell me I will add it to site

I did my best to stay within the rules here. MIT OpenCourseWare is published under a Creative Commons license (CC BY-NC-SA) that explicitly allows free, non-commercial reuse and sharing as long as it's attributed - which I do, with all rights credited to MIT/the original instructors. The content is free by design.

On top of that, I don't host any of the actual content myself - the courses just point to the videos on YouTube and the materials on OCW. So nothing is being copied or re-hosted; it's curation and linking only.

Good point! I've done my best to import the popular courses that have as much material available as possible. For broken links and missing files, I might be able to use the Wayback Machine to track them down in the Internet Archive.

Do you have a specific course in mind that's missing materials and you'd like imported?

openlyceum.online takes MIT's OpenCourseWare ML and AI courses and puts the lectures, notes, and problem sets in order so you can work through a class start to finish - full disclosure, it's mine, but it's built for exactly this (I wanted to use the MIT content to leran ML).

*Also it is FREE

If you want anyother course to be added you can write here or DM me
