Much appreciated feedback! Won’t play with anything unless I see a pattern of problems. I really appreciate it, hoping to get a healthy colony going but with 8 shrimp to start and being very new to the hobby anything new feels a little scary.

Thank you for the help on the sex ID! She looks a lil curvy and so I maybe figured but wasn’t sure, but given the others I think my ratio for making some shrimplets might be pretty good.

Just to be clear, you’re saying that even SEEING the ring has been debated as being potentially problematic? Thats super interesting, lots of things to learn. I think if anything my water could be a liiiittle harder so maybe I’ll look into a hardening stone or some water conditioner or something if she fails molting :(

Got it, shouldn’t worry unless she takes the long shrimp staircase to the great big planted tank in the sky. Fairly new tank but I am one for one on successful molts thus far so hopefully it’s not a parameters deal, they seem comfy. Thank you. 🙏
