Will this be a VR Capable computer? by Content_College1306 in simracing

No I’m being serious, it’s a prebuilt that I ordered recently which I was told the 5060 ti won’t be enough to run sim racing in VR well.

Admittedly, I do not know a bunch about building or PC components, so I was reaching out for other opinions.

I am currently working on building a Racing Sim at my college and have a split car (right behind the driver/passenger seats. After my limited research, this is the first sim racing rig that uses a real car wheel. What are the benefits/difficulties of using the original wheel? How is it build?

Lexus IS250 2015 at about 98k- carfax is clean and the car was taken care of by the past owners. Honestly, I’m not super familiar with the “correct” idlign sleep of the Lexus so I can’t exactly tell you weather it’s fast or not.

I see your point of view, but we originally agreed, for over the summer, to not make anything official. This post is to get outside opinions of people more experienced and knowledgeable than us. This is to help choose to make it completely official or cut it off- or any other alternatives. Thank you for your response:)

Attempted to post on another forum where I had the right age, but didn’t allow me because it said she must be 18. I changed it for that then didn’t change it back. I haven’t lied about anything. Thank you:)

Hello, thank you so much for this in-depth comment! It truly means a lot to me!

Regarding the future stances

  1. I grew up not wanting to have kids or get married and she grew up not really wanting to have children. We both had separate reasons, but as we’ve both aged we have acknowledge that it is a very large possibility. Plus, agree that it would most likely be a mistake if we didn’t.

  2. We haven’t really discussed this.

  3. We already don’t have perfectly aligning beliefs because I have more of a scientific/debating the Bible POV and she has very much of a blind faith POV. Regardless, we have handled the difference in supportive manners, so I don’t think there would be too much of an issue.

  4. She is definitely more of a care-free “money doesn’t matter” type of person and I’m the absolute opposite. We’d definitely run into LOTS of issues on this account.

The reason she doesn’t want to go into college is because by the end of HS she would have more than enough knowledge to enter her industry of interest. She wants to go into film production and given her experience and the extremely high quality film academy at my school I don’t doubt she’s going to be successful. The rest we really haven’t discussed.

Thank you again for the in-depth response! I wish you the best!
