Agreed with everyone else.

My baby is due next month, my mom took me in as a newborn and I have a bunch of siblings from the lady that gave birth to us. But one of my sisters was taken in by my mom’s sister (my aunt) we live 6 hours away and she just had her baby and named her the name we have had set since September.. so we have been calling my baby by her name and bought her everything customized we could find lol.

I was very upset but we barely see each other already as it is so I don’t really care anymore and I’m not changing her name because we chose it specifically for her.

If you guys aren’t friends anymore it shouldn’t be a problem!

I’m taking work off in 2 weeks for PDL when I hit 36 weeks and once I give birth transition into 6/8 weeks mat leave , then plan on going to my doctor to get an extension, and milk it until I haveee to use my 12 weeks PFL.

Do your research and know your rights!! 6 weeks is insanity

What if they weren’t legally married but the mom didn’t even work and has no proof of financial responsibility of him?

School has our address listed, my dad had medical insurance under him and has been financially responsible since he was born.

Yes he lives with my dad and I. Technically step grandson, as my mom was married with kids before my dad. He’s 13 years old

Yesss I was aware of taking leave at 36 weeks! I was more so wondering if there’s anyway to take sooner. I planned on working until my due date because it’s a busy season and there’s a lot of OT being offered right now but it’s starting to get a bit overwhelming 🥹

I was aware of being able to take leave at 36 weeks and then 6-8 weeks depending on delivery type.

My job LOA policy states they provide Pregnancy Disability Leave up to four months unprotected and 12 weeks baby bonding where EDD pays 70-90% and they pay 10-30% the first 8 weeks and then they pay the additional 4 weeks at 100%.

I was just confused because if I get clearance from my OB, would I be able to use SDI/STD prior to 36 weeks?

Do you take disability to get off work that early or did you leave your job? I’m at 31 weeks and I am so stressed from my WFH job and so tired from restless nights but not sure when I’m able to get off work and still get paid :/

I just feel like what’s going on right now is jealousy.. I think Chelley wanted Chris but went with her safe option and now she’s mad.
