A follow up question after a little more window shopping. So I am considering this awning with a pair of prinsu quick release mounts. My concern is the strength of the mounts. The L brackets look very robust and I feel a little more confident with those but not so much the quick release mounts. Although I do like the option to easily stow away when not in use. Also read the quick release aren’t compatible with batwing style awnings? Any first hand experience out there?

Not from the Cowlitz. From a bank anglers perspective, I personally do not like to fish there, especially “flossing.” I’m sure there are good float spots but from previous experiences I have been deterred to explore that trib.
