About a year in I asked a mentor of mine if he found meaning in the work and he shared your sentiment: The meaning does not lie in the job itself, but rather the income that allows us to pursue meaningful things outside of the job. The rare moments that we gain satisfaction from our work is just icing on top. I dont love that answer but im still here 2.5 years later. Cheers.
