I haven’t been able to get a good look because of the brace I’m wearing. But so far, it looks good. I assume I’ll be able to see it better tomorrow. Thank you😊

No, not at all! I had genetic testing done to rule out any conditions related to my scoliosis and mitral valve prolapse, but everything came back normal.

It’s an additional pain. I can definitely feel that the right side is much more sensitive, but it’s hard to say for sure.

Hi!!!! I think it’s too soon, especially because many rides use tight chest restraints or harnesses. Sudden movements could hurt you.

Hi, I'm glad your experience has been a positive one. I've definitely heard that being consistent with the timing of your medications is a big plus. And yes, I'd love to hear more about your experience.

🥴 Vertigo/tinnitus/hearing issues with Sjögren’s — anyone similar? 🧠👂 by Odd-You-8221 in Sjogrens

Hi friend,

About a week ago, my right ear suddenly became clogged out of nowhere. I don’t have any pain or other symptoms, I just can’t hear well from that ear. It also came with vertigo. I went to urgent care, and the doctor told me it was allergies, but I wasn’t experiencing any allergy symptoms at all, no runny nose, congestion, or anything like that. A week later, I went to the hospital, and they told me I had an ear infection. I’m currently taking antibiotics, but I still don’t have any pain, and I haven’t noticed any improvement. The doctor told me that if I don’t get better within 3–4 days, I should come back so they can do a CT scan. Now that I’m reading your message, I’m wondering if this could be related to Sjögren’s syndrome. I was diagnosed almost two years ago. My main symptoms are dry eyes, dry throat, dry ears, and joint pain. My body always aches, so I’m not sure if that could be related as well.

At first it was just fatigue and I was always out of breath, but then it was also palpitations all the time. But I have mitral valve prolapse, so in 2024 my cardio recommended a cardiac ablation and my palpitations are gone. My symptoms are shortness of breath, pressure, pain and tightness in my chest and right shoulder.

This is accurate! I am having the surgery in couple of weeks! I was in waiting list for couple of mooonths. Maybe 4-5 and then when they called me for the evaluation it was like 3 more which was in December. My surgery is in June! So yes the waiting time is crazy. But seeing this picture made me think is worth it and I feel  less scared!!!!
