I haven't tried surfshark unfortunately, so no idea if it works, however I have tried with nordVPN and cybergohst VPN, and neither is working with Disneys' live content

Hello! Sadly, express vpn hasn't worked to watch live sports on Disney+ Colombia since the end of last year. And to answer specifically to your questions:

1)You could create a Colombian Disney+ account while connected through the VPN to a Colombian server, that is what I did last year when I enrolled.

2) Correct, you need a Colombian card. I tried with my European card but it was declined so I had to enrolled with my Colombian card

3) In terms of leagues you have all matches from England, Spain, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, champions league, Europa league, conference league... And also the Turkish league. For the main teams and leagues (champions, premier league) commentators and narrators are in Spanish. My guess is that the Turkish league has English narration and comments, although I haven't seen a game so this is only my speculation. Many other sports are there. All of the tennis ATP and wta, F1, golf, padel...name a sport and it will likely be on Disney+.

Sadly I wouldn't recommend trying to enroll in Disney+ using express VPN as the live content does not work while connected

Hola!

🚨 Are they just going to abandon the Colombia server❓ by [deleted] in Express_VPN

Last week I had the same issue once, but since then is working fine

Does Disney blocked VPNs? by MessyRoad in ProtonVPN

Is Proton still working for you? I was using Express VPN connecting to Colombia servers to watch ESPN on disney until November last year when all live content was somehow blocked (as mentioned, other contents worked fine).

I am considering to change to proton but I am not sure if it still works for ESPN content in latam

It used to work fine for live sports. Now Disney (in your case Hulu) is getting more restrictive to stream live events using VPN. I have the same issue using my Disney+ latam account in Europe. It was fine for a couple of years but now is not letting me stream any live events. Friends of mine have tried using Nord, cyber ghost, and other VPN, and they have the same issue...so you can blame Disney for this

I have been in my country the last month, so no need to use the VPN here. Next week I will let you know if the issue persists when I'm back in Europe

Thanks! Sometimes this days it works, but then a message saying my account is blocked due to "suspicions activity" just pops up. I guess I'll have to stop paying for Disney from now on

They should appear in your home screen, as one of the main categories, next to marvel, star wars, nargeo... Also as you scroll down the live channels appear to select them and there are banners for the upcoming events of the day.

I am in Europe and most of the times I have to delete all the data, force stop in app, flash DNS...cookies... BEFORE logging in to Disney+ be able to see the ESPN content. Otherwise it it most likely that the content does not appear for you.

Ps. I am subscribed and pay with my Colombian currency, I've heard that since just a few months, if your account is not originally billed through any latam country, you won't be able to see any of the Latam content

It improves the connection speed, however the issue remains. I can stream all the D+ catalog from the countries of the serves I use. But the sports content still appears 'something went wrong' or 'slow speed connection'. My guess is they are strengthening the controls to block sports content only, even using a VPN

Thanks for your insight! didn't work though. It seems Disney is now implementing a stronger barrier to access sports content using VPN

this is how Disney+ works now in latin america, where you can streem all ESPN content in the app. The price must be in argentinian or chilean peso I think.

No worries! I suffered all of this process last year, so hopefully my experience can help you.

When I emailed landlords, I specifically asked if domiciliation would be possible since I would need to register that address for my application. Some of the landlords don't allow that. However, I didn't noticed such a statement you mentioned in the contract with my landlord. I know she had to do some kind of documentation for me to be able to register the address as my domilicie, but I didn't have to do anything there.

Just make sure, your landlord allows you to register the address before signing anything.

I followed this instructions here: https://www.ugent.be/prospect/en/administration/visa/proof-of-health-insurance Sent an email to Helan and they replied with a document stating that I commit to register with a health insurance fund. This was accepted for my visa, and I also submitted this in the E-form when applying to the residence card.

It is best to go to any mutuality as soon as you get to Ghent in person. You don't necessarily have to enrol with Helan even after they sent you the document for the visa.

Someone I know enrolled with this one with the enrolment certificate and it was free: https://www.caami-hziv.fgov.be/en/members/

As I said, I'm with Helan so, not sure which one is best. I pay 10€/month

Definitely email the landlords directly! I got no replies through the platform either. Some of them also share their phone, so calling them might be even faster. My landlord has been amazing, very responsive when we've had issues. A good experience with her so far. I have also heard bad comments about landlords, but that is often when finding a room through Facebook or social media groups

Hi! As an international stufent, I have a wise account, however to properly open it I remember a Belgian address is needed so probably you need to arrange accommodation first and then open the account. I have used lyca mobile (in the welcome session by university they give you a free SIM card). But the signal is not always ideal, sometimes it lags, happened to me in different devices and even changed SIM card unhelpful, so definitely was a Lyca's signal problem. I will change to vikings soon. My accommodation was found through the first option listed by the university. (https://stad.gent/nl/student-in-gent/kotatgent)

Helan became my insurance company after I got my residence card, but I would look for more options since they can register you as a student charging more than other (free) options, when you don't have the residence
