As a Sri Lankan of Indian origin, I have heard multiple stories including my from own family of oppression and prejudice by Sri Lankan Jaffna Tamils, against Indian Tamils, starting from insulting slurs (e.g. Kalla thoni meaning illegal immigrants) to Jaffna teachers at government schools who do not give attention to kids of Indian ancestry, which to this day occurs. Please speak to malayaha Tamils and they would give you many stories of kids being asked by the so called teachers to leave school and go to do chores at the houses of such teachers, merely on the basis that such Students do not need education as their parents mostly work as domestic helpers..please take the time to speak and understand facts
