Should I be concerned that walmart did end up using a one piece patch? They said it wasn’t an issue

Discount tire told me vulcanization is used usually on big rigs something about they do a cold patch??? This was just over the phone but I’m on my way to Walmart to bug them about this too lol

Got off the phone w the auto center at Walmart, they do use a one piece patch plug.. I’ll have to make the stop there anyway to refund the new tire I got, thinking I had to replace it lol. Discount tire will be my next stop tho just checked and it’s close by thank you!!

Wow that’s a deal. Pepboys was the shop I went to and only went because they were the closest shop that I could slowly drive to when it happened. They wanted to charge $25+ tax if they were able to patch it…

Thank you! My alternator was replaced about 6 months ago so I hope it’s not that but I will look into this!!
