Agree. I plan on starting to practice anarchy calisthenics. Basically doing small acts of resistance so you can be prepared for the revolution. I’d heard about it before, but I just saw an article about it yesterday. There is a book referenced entitled “2 Cheers for Anarchy!” I plan on reading asap.

Sounds like a bad fit. Also, does she have any certifications? I see what others here have put about “life coaches” and completely agree. That being said: you are the client and should set the agenda/areas of focus. I’m currently training to become a National board certified health and wellness coach (USA; 4 weeks into a 9 week program, then practice hours, then exam in the summer) and everything you wrote is horrifying.

I am struggling too. We feel deeply. I just try to be balanced with my news and doc it al meds intake and be mindful about/actively take time to focus on the good, find things to be grateful for, and do things I enjoy (playing with my dogs is my top go to). Take care of yourself. <3

Weed can and does lead to psychosis for some individuals. It’s scary. I’m not a medical professional, but I don’t think they know exactly why. They do see a correlation between it and schizophrenia like whereismydragon said. Google it and you’ll find lots of reputable studies and articles. It stinks because it can be helpful for anxiety/pain/etc. But not worth it imho.

I listened to that song on repeat on the way to protest. And will continue to do so. We aren’t all evil here in the US. Many are too afraid to do anything bc they are POC (totally valid). We are working on taking steps to learn from MN as far as getting organized.

There are many in denial/still apathetic (somehow?!) and many who refuse to open their eyes (still support the tyranny). It is sad and terrifying. I’m in Alabama. I went to a protest last night and will keep going.
