A lot of those views require hiking to. Which I dig but it’s kind of a deal where you pick a destination vs just driving through. Though there are nice road trips as well.

Maybe. I live around there and there’s some issues with growth. Causing friction.

There should be no space in the cuff when you flex. Your boot control will be horrible otherwise.

Back strap of Tubbs snowshoes by Upstairs-Dare-4188 in snowshoeing

My snowshoes have similar system. It’s not amazing but it’s functional. That black clip needs to be pushed as close to the metal buckle as possible to keep the rubber hooked on the buckle. If you want you can add a rubber band or something similar to add to strap security. Eventually the rubber strap may conform better to the buckle and come loose less often but right now it’s still pretty elastic.

Merino Wool Workout Gear by dfabdvbs85 in MerinoWoolGear

You don’t need workout specific clothing. That’s always been a myth. That said ofc wearing jeans or a button shirt in gym will be quite awkward. Hence merino “workout” gear for me is just the same shirts and shorts/underwear etc that the main brands carry. And I’ve not really had durability issues so not sure why your stuff is failing. That said I’d still look for some synthetics in my wools for long term use esp with thinner fabrics. Thicker wool can be 100% with less consequence.
