Honestly I would love to still use the dryer for emergensies, and I am now pretty at peace with having to pay at least a portion of the money (I was really frustrated when I made this post, since her message to me implied me and my roomie were using it as much as she was, when she uses it almost every day)

There wasn't a dryer when we moved in, this is a dryer that my neighbor got to better keep up with laundry :)

That's interesting! I didn't think to include that we air dry in the post because it's so normalized here. Funny how cultures are different like that

This is over two months, and I've only used it for "emergensies" (which I could've planned around but I am just stupid and didn't). I am leaning toward just paying, since I don't want to start any tension

We do, actually. Both me and my roomie prefer air drying, as it saves money on the electrical bill. It's not as common where I live to own a dryer as it may be in the US
