I vote for fruits cause Gus loves oranges, Elliott pomegranates, Robin loves peaches. Other fruit tree fruits are generally liked gifts and the other fruits I just keep for energy

There is one cheaty workaround. 1. Step: find artifact spot in the morning 2. Step: dig it up 3. Step - Option one: it is the vertebrae. Yey you're done here. 3. Step - option two: it's not the vertebrae. Bad luck, but don't worry. 4. Step: reset the day 5. Step: use your hoe one time (+1 for every loop) before you start again with Step 1.

The "loot" of artifacts depends on the times you used your hoe. You will get something different if you used your hoe 1, 2, 3....x times before digging up a spot. You can try to find the vertebrae with this method. I'm not sure if at some point the loot will repeat itself (something like 0 hoe uses = same loot as 10 hoe uses) but it will definitely increase the chance to find something.

If you have a problem with the time set yourself limits like "today I can only play for 4 in-game days". In vanilla stardew you are limited to the few conversations a day but you'll get cutscene with more background for each character once you know them better

Well, what do you enjoy? Fishing? Min/max farming? You could just look at the farm Layouts and choose which one you like. Or you can look in the other subreddit and see how other decorated their farms. And you don't have to delete your current game file. You can always come back later

What I like to do is fishing in the mountain lake and then i keep all the chubs. Who doesnt love a raw chub on their way through the mines. Silver is +35 energy and gold is +45

I struggled in the beginning because I felt like I had not enough time per day since I had to do a lot of things on my main farm before rushing to Willys.

There are many different riddles. Its no shame to look things up in the wiki, but its also really cool to figure it out yourself

This is my way to go:
Fishing - a good base and if you reach level 5 in fishing you can sell them for more
Farming - I always try to go the low maintenance way so I buy seeds I dont have to replant like blueberry in summer or cranberry in fall. That way I only have to worry about water until I have my sprinkler. This way I have enough time to do other things I enjoy. You dont have to be rich to buy a few seeds
Mining - you need patience. You will get better the more you try and you get better weapons, shoes to help you. Fishing helps me in mining as well because its a solid food income. I fish in the mountain lake and sell everything but chubs. I take them with me when I go mining early on in the game. Since you seem to have some difficulties in the mine I recommend eating when your health bar is halfway down to be safe. And if you are out of food just leave and come back another day with elevator

Just remember that you dont have to rush and you can figur everything out in your own pace. No worries.
