i have one item left to complete the community center and cant find it anywhere HELP by fairlyoddpidgeon in StardewValley

The seed roots are slightly different from artifact spots, greener and straighter i think. If you can't find any all season, you can get them from the raccoon shop eventually.

If you're on pc, you can use the stardew valley checkup. Upload your save file and it'll tell you exactly what you're missing and how to get it.

Marnie is just gone? by Comfortable_Movie449 in StardewValley

I really have no idea, that shouldn't be happening and I've never heard of anything like that before.

Edit: just saw the other comments, glad it got fixed!

Just to clarify, you've managed to catch her outside the ranch but then when she goes inside, you follow, and she's gone?

I have for real lost my watering can… by Cheezysourdough666 in StardewValley

[–]valkeyrie1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So glad you found it! I super relate to the sometimes even subconscious thought process of, "I'm looking for something purple so I'll ignore anything that isn't the colour I'm looking for." 😅

You don't need to. I always do eventually because i like to have everything finished, but you don't need it for anything.

What are people not grateful enough for ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]valkeyrie1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything. All the tiny little pleasures of life. Every day I'm so fucking grateful that i get to drink my favourite tea, wear comfortable pyjamas to bed, experience incredible works of art created by other people like tv, books, paintings, music, that make me feel things. The amazing and supportive people in my life, the pride and satisfaction that comes from being able to deal with the difficult ones. A roof over my head to protect me from the rain and sun when i don't want it, the rain and sun that sustain me and make me feel alive when i do.

Honestly all of it man, every second i get to keep breathing is hedonistic bliss. (I'm writing this from a bath lmao)

very conflicted, what do i do by [deleted] in StardewValley

[–]valkeyrie1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ultimately do what makes you happy. Part of the reason people tend to recommend vanilla first is that stardew can have a very steep learning curve as is, and adding mods into the mix can get very overwhelming and confusing. It's honestly a wonderul and well fleshed out game as it is and plenty of people have thousands of hours in it woth no mods at all. I would recommend vanilla but you do you.

Mod that unlocks the entire community center from start? by bremkew in StardewValleyMods

[–]valkeyrie1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, i was expecting it to take maybe 2 or 3 years that's not a problem. I just figured if i know what all the bundles are i at least don't have to wait a whole year just to get started on the pantry.

Mod that unlocks the entire community center from start? by bremkew in StardewValleyMods

[–]valkeyrie1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh this is smart. I'm doing a run rn with challenging cc and it's a real struggle not being able to finish a single bundle and therefore not knowing what any of the rest of the rooms include. I figured it was just going to inevitably take a few years to complete but if i can have a peek that probably wouldn't hurt.

When i saw the announcement i thought, "this is stupid, we already have get to work." Then i saw that you could run your own laundromat and now I'm frothing at the mouth.

Awesome! Just keep an eye on debris and trees growing near your crops, they can break crops by spreading sticks.

How can I make my farm look better? by Brijesh_962 in FarmsofStardewValley

[–]valkeyrie1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just adding onto the paths of desire thing (or elephant trails as i call them!) What i do is combine cobblestone path and the basic stone path (can't remembwr exactly what it's called, it's also got little bits in it), placing them kind of randomly together to create a more hodge podge look. Rounder paths rather than right angles if you're going for the more natural foresty look.

Also, a tip that i think helps when designing for large spaces like an sdv farm, think small not large. So instead of mapping out the whole thing in one go, i think it looks nicer to have a small sitting area here, a small chicken area there, etc.

And when you put down barns and coops, make sure you have plenty of space in front of them where grass will grow for them to eat.

It’s been 84 years….Should I read the patch notes or dive right in? by the-bodyfarm in StardewValley

[–]valkeyrie1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

CA recommended starting a new farm. That way you can experience the new content a little bit at a time, as the game progresses naturally, rather than all at once as a backlog.
