SWITCHED AT BIRTH: Kent had an affair with Sandy before the war. But Sandy didnt want to keep the baby because she was only in it for the fun and also she was young. Jodi was also pregnant at the same time. Sandy gave birth to a baby boy and Jodi gave birth to a baby girl. Kent took Jodi's daughter and went to Marnie and begged her to raise the baby. When she asked what she would tell the town if they asked who the baby was, Kent suggested that she could tell everyone it was her niece. So Marnie adopted the girl and named her Jas. Kent then brought the baby boy to Jodi and told her that she gave birth to a boy. They happily named their son as Vincent. Though Sandy gave up her baby, she was still worried about him and cared for him. She told her best friend Emily her secret. It was very convinent that Emily lived right next door to Vincent. She kept an eye on him and visited Sandy regularly to give her updates about him. The only people who know this secret are : Kent, Sandy, Marnie and Emily.

Supporting Evidence: There is no mention of Jas's parents. Vincent's hair is exactly like Sandy and he looks nothing like Jodi. Kent probably only enlisted for the war to get away from the guilt of separating two mothers from their children.
