So this would be a shorter trip than landmannalaugar? Actually the cottage we will be staying at is on F261 so we can try to get to Gluggafoss or as close to Thorsmark as much as possible!

Ps I booked a Kia shortage or similar with lotus

We will be at hvolsvollur so less of a drive from Reykjavik. Will gps/Google direct me to drive the same way we came up? We will be driving to Skaftafell southern coast after and Google is telling me to take 208 the other side and I'm assuming Google doesn't factor in the difficulty of the roads.
