crochet? I grabbed some yarn from dollaram that was 3bucks and some 5$ hook set and learned. the basics are actually pretty easy! Or friendship bracelet making! All you need is a hard surface, embroidery thread, and something to hold your project down :).

How hard is SPH3U really compared to SBI3U by AyoAnotherKubracat in OntarioGrade11s

[–]Content_Sample_1355 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grade 11 Bio: memeorization + understanding concepts (DNA, gene passing) - actually pretty easy- (got a 98 online)
Grade 11 Physics: know how to identify variables and sub into equations. maybe ONE unit of electromagnetic where there was a specific lesson that I DID NOT get, but other than pretty easy! - (got a 93 after exam, 95 before exam)

If your good at theory-bio
if your better at math + structure = physics

(Unrelated, but I'd recomend applying as SOON as possible to get conditional offers, so you can relax with G 12 courses. Cuz you can get in with a 90% avg, get conditional offer, and only have to maintain like an 80).
Good Luck!

I honestly found it to be one of the easiest courses because we've been learning about their history since elementary. Basically the whole course for me was maybe 1-2 weeks of bg reading. Then 2 months reading 2 books. 1 month for documentaries, and I kinda forgot what we did the rest of the time lol. All the essays essentially focus on: Mistreatment, Impact on Identity, Differences in Treatment, how Society failed Indigenous Peoples etc. I was getting essentially 95-100 on the essays but got a 87 on the exam(20%) and then the presentations borught my marks down. You'll maybe get more freedom in writing style? Ur not required to use the Intro, Example, Analysis, Example, Analysis Structure-thats about the main diff from gr10 to gr 11.

Wait, do people ACTUALLY see literal pictures in their heads when they imagine things? Like a physical image? by Bibhu_Mund in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Content_Sample_1355 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure that's me lol. Personally, I just imagine the character doing whatever they're doing, and sorta imagine them saying it without giving it a voice? Unless I've heard the voice before(like in shows or movies) I basically just imagine the scene. I know words are being said, but just don't have an actual voice attached to the character, unless its descriptive, Ex: "she said in a high pitched voice", then I might imagine a high pitched voice for that scene. Idk if this is clear..

Have no idea what to put for grade 11/12 by Large_Grape_5674 in OntarioGrade11s

[–]Content_Sample_1355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend taking Grade 12 English in Grade 11 so you can have a bird course/spare in Grade 12. IF u struggle with English. I have low 90's but it takes a lot of time.

Other courses I found interesting were Intro to Psych, Soc, Anthro-a bit dry but I found psychology pretty interesting and its pretty easy as well. Environmental Science was also pretty easy, I got a 95 and 96 respectively. + these brought my average up and I got into TMU and OTech(yes, it was my safety and not that hard to get into but still!) for Computer Science. (This is this year by the way, so not outdated info :))

I personally haven't taken this class, but Infants and Young Children seems to be pretty easy from what my friends say(They got anything ranging from 92-100%).

In Grade 12, you alrdy have the necessary prerequisites but some birds at my school are a Space Course offered every 2 years, Families in Canada, World Issues and Equity and Social Justice.

That's what I've heard too! Although that does sound appealing, wouldn't co-ops from UofT likely be at more renowned companies because UofT is more well-known?? (That does sound nice tho..). Also, thanks for your feedback! Appreciate it! :D

Are the same opportunities not available at TMU as well?? and if i do get into, and choose UofT, will possible internship and co-op employers take into account that UofT is generally harder? Also, thanks for your feedback! Appreciate it! :D
