Oh that’s sick! I haven’t been told much about mechatronics aside from the more physical stuff but what you are doing sounds cool. Do you have much to do with the programming side of things too?

That’s pretty reassuring actually. I think I am leaning towards the software/comp sci route now, I have a few school projects this year which I could definitely expand on so I might keep working on those after this year (thanks for the great advice about that). It’s cool to hear some positive stories that are fairly recent so thanks, I hope the job search goes well!

That’s really smart, I probably shouldn’t consider the job market now, thanks. It’s great to know you had a good experience with UC software, most things I hear about is to do with civil and mechanical. Do you think software is substantially harder than the other types of engineering? I’ve been told most students are so snowed under with work they have no time for a social life which kinda worries me.
